Hey, since I plugged in gtx 1070 black edition with ACX3.0 my computer was shutting down randomly, it could happen right after booting up and opening a game or it could happen after hours of playing. I've just discovered there is some issue with memory overheating and new bios. I'm not running on my old gtx 660 Ti without any problems. Should I try to put 1070 back in and install new bios update?
Max temperature on 1070 was around 74-76 degrees but I don't know if it's memory could be overheating or is it just faulty GPU? I already contacted EVGA technical support few days back but still no answer.
Thanks for your help.

I'm now running on my old GTX 660Ti and no crashes since then. What you guys think? Is it worth trying updating bios or is 1070 most likely faulty? I will probably call EVGA tommorow because I'm still waiting for answer from them and I've contacted their support last Wednesday.

There was nothing after "This is my PSU."

The reason I am asking questions about your PSU is that the majority of the time, the issue you are having maps directly back to an old or sub-par PSU.  PSUs can go bad...and newer generation hardware always tends to make a borderline PSU show its warts.

Also - do you have a manual overclock on your video card?

Guess I didnt post the link properly, this is my PSU: 630W TTAKE/SPS-630MPCBEU PSU

PSU is not older than 1 year. I don't have a manual overclock because I have no idea how to do that :D

This is what google got for me when I copied ID and Source since my windows is in Czech language.

I know it looks like PSU is cant give enough power for GTX 1070 and it shuts down but why it ran without any problem for almost a year with my 660 Ti? I tried stress tests, benchmarks and everything was okay. Can't be overheating the problem?
    Thank you for your help!

EDIT: Put back 1070, updated BIOS but because in idle temperature was around 35 degrees i changed fan curve to agressive preset and will see if crash will occur. Right now GPU is sitting on 27 degrees. Is there a way how to check memory temperature?

The 660 ti & 1070 both draw the same amount of power. To me it sounds like the 1070 is defective since your 660 ti worked fine. Try testing the 1070 in another computer to verify that it is defective.

Totally what I think. Unfortunately I don't have an option to put it into different PC :( No restart so far tho today, weird =/

After 2-3 days first crash happened. I was playing Gears of War 4 for 2 hours cca and it just crashed. When I checked GPU temperature during the game it was around 60 degrees. I'm already sorting out RMA with EVGA so hopefully new GPU will sort out the problem. :(
