Hey All,

Does anyone by chance have a PG348Q and having what I can only describe as blink / reset issues?  The screen will be going for awhile, then flash about 3 times like the resolution was changed, then keep going.  I also cannot for the life of me get even a tiny over clock from 60hz (Bought a 1080 specifically for this monitor, so I could OC (Didn't have a g-sync capable video card before)).  I'm grasping at straws here because this was stable on my old R9 290, but locked at 60hz, and seems to be all over the place on the 1080 sadly :(.

Here's an example of it occurring: https://youtu.be/jSYnIDKDSno literally not be able to trace this down as of  yet.

Any tips, ideas, thoughts?
TIA!

Okay hope to save some others another big ol' headache.  Turns out, completely and 100% the displayport cable causing overclocking (monitor) and display stability issues.

Put a DP cert'ed cable in after, smooth as glass, http://www.amazon.com/Accell-B142C-007B-UltraAV-DisplayPort-Locking/dp/B0098HVZBE

Ok..so what kind of performance are you getting? I preordered a FTW and am seriously contemplating picking one of these monitors up.

Locks up at full 100hz without issue now, on the good cable.  Pretty little BLB, and otherwise looks great.  My R9 290's couldn't deal with the resolution of this screen very well, but with the 1080 Doom for example is 80-100 FPS without breaking a sweat.

In overwatch right now with a mild overclock (still on air cooler) and doing 80-100fps as well depending on how much is going on.  Only downside is overwatch doesn't support 21:9, so black bars left/right

I'm gaming on a predator xb271hu from acer and that puppy runs at a smooth1440p at 144hz with no problem. Can't wait to slap a 1080 in there and play minesweeper.

Was the DP cable causing the issue the one provided with the monitor? And did buying the new DP cable completely remove the issue for you? Were you able to replicate the issue again by returning to the old provided cable?
Sorry for the many questions but I have the same monitor and am using the provided DP cable and would just like to know.

    Thanks.
