I just got a called from Wrinverts wife. Wanted to let the community know he has passed away and is no longer with us. One of the best people ive ever met in my life. The first person I ever talked to from the EVGA forums was wrinvert on TS. After that we bonded and became friends. He told me about the wonders of watercooling and I'd help him when his friends Diesels were having issues. For those that didn't know him you missed out on a wonderful person. For this who did know him your life is better for it. R.I.P. Wrinvert you'll be missed more than you can ever imagine.

Wrinvert and this community are one of the major factors in what shaped me into who I am. I'm going to miss that glorious bastard but at least he does not have to fight or hurt anymore, has has been fighting and hurting for so long.

Wow thats heartbreaking.  My condolences go to his wife and family. The biggest thing I can remember of Win was his enjoyment he had in his Subaru STI. He sure did mod it to perfection. Poor guy he sure will be missed.

Same here. If it wasn't for him I would have never gotten involved in the EVGA community (especially folding/distributed computing) and made even more friends. We spent countless hours on TS gaming, talking PC's and cars, and all kinds of other stuff. He felt like a great friend even though we never met in person. He was one of the good ones and I will miss him but never forget him.

Same as sinned and opolis. he was the first person I talked to on eVGA TS as well. he made me feel right at home. we bonded immediately as well. he helped me through my dark time with my tumor telling me I would be fine, all while he was in stage 4. when i was low on money, he simply said how much i needed. he was always giving and never asked for anything in return. he would help anyone at anytime.
i am going to miss him so damn much!

My condolences and prayers with his wife and family. He is the second person this forum has lost to cancer in the 10 years I've been around. Very sad indeed. We share a common interest and rivalry about cars. It was all in good fun.
