This is serious and very personal...... Please go hug your children right now, then come back to read this. Then go hug them again and make darn sure they know you love them. My Sunday started off with a Police officer knocking on my door. He handed me a name and phone number to call. With only the following information. Your Son is in the hospital in the ICU and you need to go see him now. We did. Upon arriving we learned that my son was a passenger in an auto accident. At this time....... The driver is OK, but my son is not good. Medically paralyzed and on life support. It will be 24hours now in about thirty minutes. He is in his early 20's and no, no alcohol was involved. The driver lost control of the vehicle on a gravel road and left the roadway. The ambulance got to the scene about 20 minutes after the accident. My son was not breathing and had no heartbeat. They took 22 minutes, three Defibulator hits, a lot of CPR and medications later. My son came back to us. We will not know until the earliest of tomorrow afternoon if he has brain damage or not, and if he will come back home to us or not. Just needed to type it I guess..... Still in shock and disbelief.

That is horrible news  I cannot imagine how worried, angry, anxious, etc you must feel. I'll keep you and your son in mind. I don't know what to offer you or how to improve your situation at all, but you can always PM me if you need to rant or just want to talk about it in more detail. No matter how hard it seems, you've got the strength to handle this. Stay with your son and he'll make it through, I'm certain. He made it this far already.
