As someone who has been through both an "IED" blast and has also lost a son make sure they checked the driver's blood. In my "IED incident I was thrown 30 feet and lived, but my son who was riding with a drunk that lost control on gravel was only what they thought "was badly bruised" turned out his spleen ruptured and he died of internal bleeding. It was Three months later after my returning home and requesting it that they tested his blood and found he "the driver" was drunk. Too "lose control" on a gravel road takes alot of speed to kill someone. Sorry for your loss, but don't let the guilty go free.

Even though the guilty shouldn't be free, having someone sent away doesn't bring back what was lost, when my grandma was in an accident, because of an illegally high fence she couldn't see and was hit, but suing the fence company still didn't bring her back.

I saw this a few hours ago, didn't have time to post.. It instantly made me think of This song. AB, I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine how you feel, and I'm truly sorry.
