Truly, truly sorry for you and your family... You are a really good fellow and I am sure your son learned to be the same from you... Even without knowing him I'm sure he made the same kind of impact as you do no matter how sadly short his life was.

wow this is horrable news... I am really sorry to hear about your loss, honistly i know there is nothing i could say to make this any eazer for you...
Now a days its not to often i feel sad about anything... but reading through this and finding out about what happened to your son brought a tear to my eye...
what can i say to try and help without feeling cold hearted? i guess the.. um hard part is over? even if it was the worst way... but your family needs you to be strong, you wife needs you more than anyone right now. nothing is gonna bring whats lost back but you need to focus on how to help everyone else through this even though it sucks so bad for you to.

Dude as you well know words can never suffice. I wish you and your family the strength to move forward together, and hope that with each passing day you will come to celebrate your son's life that was, as opposed to suffering in the pain of his passing. Clearly he was needed in whatever is beyond this life.
