Im very sorry for you and your family, You have my deepest sympathy's. I will certainly keep you and your family in my prayers. I have a son living very far away and worry about him 24/7. I always dread when the phone rings at night.

Update is not promising. If you have had any medical training (I have, Volunteer Fireman 5+ years) you will understand what I am about to say...

His pupils are 100% unresponsive so far. His heart rate requires Medication to keep stable. He is still not waking up.

The next 48 hours will tell us if our son has any chance of survival. Not coming home mind you, but survival!

I do not preach, and I pride myself as being understanding. So I say with a heavy heart, cherish what you have. And if your head is up something. Be kind and rewind it. You will never know when or what will hit you, but it can and does.

Regardless of you beliefs and choice of prayer. Our gift of life is just that. A gift. Now how are you going to use that gift you have received? Have you earned it? Or are you still "Whoa is me" and think you're being wronged. Well put yourself in the shoes of those families in Haiti, or military families for example. Life is to short to be selfish and self centered. If you are not already doing so, please give back.

There can be no truer words spoken... My friend you have my thoughts and strength, I truly wish I could send it to you and your family right now because I know you need it. I cannot imagine, but I will do what I can and pray and keep you, your son, and your family on my mind in hopes of the best.

I wish you and your family the best in regards to such a tragedy.  Please hold through it.  My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your son!  I'm hoping for a full recovery.  I too have lost a lot but noting can ever prepare you for such a tragedy.

I would never attempt to say I understand. In fact, I would say without a shadow of a doubt I have no idea @ all... I have recently made alot of changes in my life to make better use of every moment I have w/ my 11 year old son terrified of something such as this or just trying to make sure I make the best of the time while dad is still cool to hang around..

I wish you and your family nothing but the best. I have no words that will comfort you or make it go away but I am terribly sorry for what has happened to your family.

I was waiting for an update and I was hoping against hope that you would come back with some glimmer of hope.  It's this point right here that I think is the hardest - not knowing what will happen.  I can relate in some small way, my niece went through a similar life or death situation... I continue to hope against hope that something will happen in the positive... all of us in the office are thinking about you...

Very sorry to hear that and i hope that every thing works out for him. I have a 25 year old boy and twin 7 year old boy and girl. and i hug them every chance i get.
