I'm sorry this happened to your son.

I just dont know what to say..... it really does effect me in ur lose. just reading this story made me cry. The lord has a plan for all of us. We will never understand why or what this for till we meet him one day. I pray for ur family to be strong in this trying time in the lose of ur son. there is nothing that i could every say that would take the pain away.... AB u give so much to us with out even thinking. You are a selfless person in every way helping of us in some way shape or form. i just want to say thank u. Your store really makes me want to be a better person and look at life diffrently i will do my best to take the value in each day i am here. thank u for this and helping so many be reminded of this. thank u. my families prayers are with u.

I'm so sorry to hear this terrible news. I just want you to know that I too am praying for you and your family.

My thoughts are with you Afterburner and your family.  I know just what its like to loose a child at an early age.  Parents should never outlive their kids.  Keep on keeping buddy, take it one day at a time, i know its hard to think this, but it does eventually get easier as time passes.  You got a great community here at evga forums for support.

I am very sorry AB.
I didn't post it in my first post, but we lost my oldest son 6 years ago april.  After 8 days in ICU with him, I lost him. I started questioning my faith. Then it occurred to me, that this might have been for the best. I would have hated having him awake and having to tell him that he wasn't going to make it. As it turns out, God knows best. No one knows why these things happen, but it must be for a good reason. It took a long time before the pain wasn't completely unbearable, but we fight thru for those we love who still remain. I will pray for you and your family and know you will be ok soon.

I am sooo sorry to hear about your loss. I have been following this thread everyday and like many others in this family my heart sank. I am 17 and have the emotional range of a teaspoon but when I read that title, I became extremely angry at myself, there are so many things I take advantage of and after reading that title I realized how lucky I am and how lucky many of us are. AB you have a community here who is willing to support you no matter what. Should anything arise there will always be someone here to back you and your family up.

Some things no one can expect or prepare for are also the things that are near impossible to mend even with time. I am really sorry for your loss. I have experienced similar with my brother passing away, but i am sure that doesn't compare to watching your child do so.

I know nothing will make this situation right for you afterburner, but I hope you are able to collect yourself and be able to keep moving forward. Durrnig this difficult time, please try remeber to take care of yourself as well.
