OMG THAT IS SO COOL!! Dude I want that. Where did you buy the lights and Cobra links from? I WANT LINKS!!!!

You can find the lights at performance pcs and other places:
Link - http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=24066

As for the design itself, you have to contact someone who creates pieces via a lazer. Alex @ FrozenQ and Dwood over at OCN (Overclock.net forums) did these jobs for me. I  send them the picture and the concept I wanted, and they executed. Alex did it more to my specifications while Dwood did his own little twist. Regardless botrh of them are great!

How much does FrozenQ and Dwood charge for a design? Also would they do this for anyone else or just people they know since I am a total stranger to them? Also how long does it take them?

Dwood does it for anyone, just find him on OCN, hes on the artisan section.

Alex from FrozenQ who did the illuminated SLI cover, is through reference. So If you want him I'll cc you via email and let you take over from there.

Hey guys, I got my CrossOver LED-P monitors up and running. These things are really sweet. I have yet to test them in surround display since my PC build is not yet done. So I plugged each of them 1 by 1 into my old pc and started checking for back-light bleed and dead/stuck pixels. Luckily enough I have non dead/stuck pixels and near perfect back-light. Awesome to say I hit pay dirt!!!! Gotta thank AccessoriesWhole for setting me up with outstanding monitors.

I also did a review on these. You can visit it here:
http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1778855

Here are some pics:

I will have some Nvidia Surround Displays posted once the rig is fully up and running. Everything is on a pause due to this hurricane. I'm in New York and Otis is in New Jersey so kinda at a stand still till this blows over.

So far they evacuated Zone Alpha and Partial of Zone Bravo.

This is just a small aspect of the zone areas. This picture completely left out Long Island which is probably going to get the worst of it.

Anyways... Stay Tuned for more updates!

Glad it helped. Thanks for the kind words. Everything is OK over on my side. I was part of the lucky ones barely affected.

Should hopefully have more updates via the build soon. Sandy did put a delay on it lol.

Re:[RIG] Custom Theme Super Cobra GT 5.0 2012/11/15 05:38:52 (permalink)
Here's a long over due update for the build.

My HDD's are gonna be water-cooled by Bits-Power HDD coolers. Makes it look really thick via width from the pictures Otis sent me.  Almost looks like 2 HDD's at once.

On the bottom to hide the PSU Otis created a nice cover to make it look like an entire unit. He made a template out of cardboard. The final piece  is going to be Aluminum base and then painted to match to casing. He also broke down some hard-drive bays on the front of the case and made  another aluminum base plate, bended it and placed it on the front. Same thing it's gonna be painted as well to match the look of the case. Gives it a unique look in my eyes.

The plating is removed from the case and testing it with the watercooling Bits-Power units. He's gonna place the HDD's behind the plating so it not showing and have on the Bits-Power in the front.

Here they are re-mounted in the case. He had both of them set-up and its looking pretty good. Both reservoirs are going to be attached to the side as seen in the pic one above the other or right next to each other.

Since there is a lot of water-cooling pieces. Otis would rather have everything short and direct to the parts. I agree with him! So here he is testing a direct link for the memory. It probably wouldn't look good with long looped water-cooling. Makes the heat dissipation less efficient. Nice simple elegant. Awesome!

Last piece in today's post The custom sleeving done for the Evga PSU NEX 1500. I loved there single sleeved cables already but it just didn't match my build. Blue and white are overlapped. Otis did a freaking great job!

More updates to come!

Hey were did you get those cables. I am looking for the exact same thing form my Rig! I want me some blue and white individual cables to match my Rig. O by the way Cloud, I am so jealous of you about your Rig. The more and more you add on to it, the more and more I get even more jealous. Your Rig is soo sexy and soo sick!

Short Update:

Just adding a few more pictures I received from Otis
Here is a good angle of the aluminum covering on the front of the case. Shows it off really nice while looking at the deep color of the case itself. Again the aluminum plating will be painted the same color when all holes and mounting is done.

Here is a backside picture of the case outside. The sun makes the color really shine. In my first few posts there is a similar picture of it just in the front.

More updates coming stay tuned!

For the sleeving I'll ask my buddy Otis Fatz who did the sleeving where he got it. Basically he un-sleeved the original NEX 1500 cables and chose blue/white to match the theme. Also he added a good twist. I always figured it would be Blue, white, blue, white in a overlapping figure. He made the sleeving similar to the design having the main color of blue and doing a single line or dual lines of white to match the stripes of the case and of the cars. Thanks for sticking with me and all others through this Rig. Hopefully should be done by next weekend. Then I can get a Video of the entire setup with pictures to include a picture of the rig with my mustang.

-edit-
Just got off the phone with him literally. He does his own custom sleeving with the custom colors so its not something you can grab. If you want I can PM you his email so you can get in contact with him. He can get the project done for you and have it mailed out. Just let me know if that's what you want so I can send the PM.

Loving the build so far and the KBM color is awesome. I have to ask 1 thing though. How many coats of polish did you put on it and will you repolish the case everytime you detail the car! I know I would.

LOL sweet. Yea The KBM is a sweet color. Looks even better on the case then it does my car. The size aspect makes it more appealing for some reason. As for the coats of polish, I dont honestly know. The paint job was done by Otis Fatz (Rig Modder) brother Kevin (Pro Painter). Kevin did a awesome job on this and of course has set aside extra touch up in case anything happens. If you would like his services you can find him on C2c Mods on Facebook or go to the site c2cmods.com
Think the PC will be washed more then the car

Here are a few picture updates.

Here's one more picture that goes with a post I did earlier showing the 4x classifieds on the motherboard. Thank god Otis got all the Classifieds in one piece.
Still can't believe it takes up that much room.

Here is another showing of the awesome job done on the custom sleeving. He is testing the sleeving for the 2x 8pin connectors and it is looking sweet.

A few posts back I mentioned that the aluminum panel would be painted and pre cut with either the reservoirs being side by side or one above the other. Here's a semi finished product of it.
On another note, you can see one of the Cooler Master Excalibur fans in the picture below. Usually the entire thing is black, but to match the theme all the blades have been painted white. Otis is really making this come together.

More updates to come!

Hey guys gonna make this one a double post with some updated info and pictures.
The build is about 90% done, form what Otis tells me. Hopefully by the end of this week or by the weekend.
Once it's fully completed, separate pictures of everything will be taken including a video walk through.

I also ordered 2 pieces to synergize with the build.

To make the CrossOver Led-P 27inch monitors have a sleeker look, I decided to mount all three with a triple monitor mount.
To do this I needed to find a mount that was capable of holding these monster monitors. For quality and stability I decided to go with the Chief KTA 325B Triple Horizontal Array Pole Clamp 3x25" Widescreen Monitor Mount. Even though the the max size is only up to 25inches. A member of the Hard-Forums have already confirmed that this particular bar (KTA325) can indeed hold three 27 inch monitors. The great thing about any chief mount is every piece is customizable. You basically create your mount. From the stand, to the length of the pole and the size of the actual monitor mount. With that being said I made the purchase. Still waiting on it to arrive but here are some pics of what it's supposed to look like.
Pieces:
KTA325B - Black Triple Horizontal Array
KTA1028B - 28inch Pole Black
KTA1002B - Black Free Stand Base

The other item purchased were speaker stands. Most of us usually place the speakers on the table whether it's in front of the monitors or hiding behind them. Others like to mount the speakers to the wall. Granted... great idea but I just dont want to mount the speakers on my wall. The last method was to give the speakers a nice stand behind the triple monitor setup. Idea is to have the stands on the corner parts of the back end of my desk. The stands themselves will be showing partially while the entire speaker on each stand will be above the triple array monitor stand. The pole for the monitors is 28inches while the stands are 24 inches. There was another pole that was 14 inches but when measuring the monitors, the height is 15inches,  well past the 14inch model. So purchasing the 28 inch pole was the only choice. It works out in my favor since I can just custom cut the pole to the appropriate size. Better to have excess then come up short.
The piece I ordered is the -  Sanus Systems EF24 Euro Foundations (Black) 24 inch model

Now for the main build update.
Here are some pictures of the water-cooling loop for the Cobra build.
All short loops and direct to increase efficiency and cooling.
Pieces used for loop:
16x Koolance Swiveling Angle Fitting, Single
3x Koolance Dual VID Connector, Adjustable 1 Slot Spacing
8x Koolance Nozzle Coupling Adapter, Male-Female, 20mm
5x Monsoon Free Center Compression
2x Masterkleer Tubing PVC 19/13mm UV Reactive White 3,3m (10ft)

New Pictures from Otis. Milky Milky Milky Milky........... lol

More To Come!

Part II of Updates

Here's a little teaser he sent me of whats going on with the case. All the moving parts, panels, fans, reservoirs and custom pieces.

The radiator is going to be in push/pull config. Four fans on the top and 4 fans on the bottom. You can't see the fourth fan since it is hiding in the drive bay area. The tubing used shows off a nice milky white color which goes great with the build.
Right side panel is mounted but with nothing on it. Makes the drive bay area look really clean. A short showing of the loop that's going to be in the build. All short lengths and direct lines to make this a tight and cooling efficient setup. He really did a awesome job on this build. I know I had some idea's but He had his own and took mine and did a marathon with them.

A upper side profile of the case. The cover on top is in place showing off the racing stripes. All four Classifieds are installed with 1 set of custom sleeving. On the bottom where the PSU and 2 Radiators can be located (also in push/pull) there is a custom cover to make the bottom area of the Cosmos II look clean. Otis also added 2 honey combed fan grills that will be showing off the white fans from the excalibur's (custom painted). The bottom cover is going to be sectioned off into two pieces. One longer piece and then the other section cut to perfect size to cover the entire unit. It's being done this way just in case any problems occur and I have to gain access to the PSU/Cables around that area.

Last picture for the update.
Here we get to see what's really going on in and outside the case. Four fans are visible on top, of course it's going to be hidden by the top Cover. One section of the right side panel is mounted including the reservoirs. Over all it looks really nice even though alot is still missing from certain areas.

Hope you guys enjoyed the update as much as I did. Subscribe and stay tuned for more!

You may not like that monitor stand for those crossovers and you won't be able to pull the side monitors in enough.  I run same 3 crossovers and if the side ones weren't pulled in enough I'd go crazy.

Hopefully it works. The guys over at HardForum put 3x 27inches monitors fine in this stand so I'm hoping for the same. Others copied it so I honestly don't seeing it be a problem. In the picture I posted it looks small but in actuality it has a longer arc for the mount. Will let you know if all goes well when it comes in.

I'm Descadent from OCN forums btw that has been posting in your review thread there, but let me know what you think about that stand for sure.

Yea definitely, if it works out shouldn't have a problem I'll be good to go. If not already got a back up plan.
Will use the chief stand with my other 3 monitor setup.

Then use the CrossOVers with this mount:

Just like the overall look, quality and base stand of the chief product.
Think I'll be getting the piece tomorrow hopefully.

-Also appreciate your posts on the review, thanks bro-
