What would the best RAD be for an i7 and the chipset that would fit in the top of the HAF X case? 3x120 size preferably. Also what are the best fittings to get? Thanks to who ever reply's ^_^ Mark

3x120 will fit in the top of a HAF932 so I assume the same is true for the HAF X. The rad you get depends on if you are looking for straight up performance or if you want to be able to run quiet fans on there too. If you are looking for high performance rads no matter what I would shoot for a TFC Xchanger 360 or a BI GTX Gen II Xtreme 360. If you are looking for something that can run low speed fans and still put out decent temps get the XSPC RX360 since it has fairly wide fin spacing. As far as fittings go.. I don't care one way or the other as far as brand is concerned but a lot of people put Bitspower up at the top of the heap.

Feser Admiral looks promising, but I'm waiting for some reviews.

I've just fit a TFC 360 xchanger into my HAF X. There's room for fans above the rad in between the top bezel, but you'll have issues mounting fans on the bottom possibly. On my mobo the PWM heatsinks and the ram clips would interfere. I'm not too worried though, I've had this rad in a system with only pull fans before and it worked well. If you're only WC'ing the CPU you'll have plenty with any good 360mm rad. As for fittings, they all perform pretty close to each other. They'll all seal your tubing well, but if you want more bling, compression fittings look pretty and shiny, but they sometimes won't fit depending how close together the inlet/outlet are on the item you're putting them on... you can need to use some extenders or 45/90 bends. They have a nut you tighten to compress the tubing and it's pretty wide compared to a straight barb. My one tip is to order way more fittings and adapters and doo-dads than you think you'll need.. there's always something that happens while plumbing the loop that makes you wish you had :)

There are many. I know you can fit a pair of the MCP320 stacks with Ultra Kazes in the top of the 932, and from what I have seen, if it will fit in a 932 it will fit in an X. If those are tubed to run sequentially, they run VERY well, and there is room. A friend is running a PA 120.3 in his 932. In general, unless you go crazy with something the size of a Feser Monsta, pretty much any 360 will fit up there. And +1 tet5ou tet5uo My one tip is to order way more fittings and adapters and doo-dads than you think you'll need.. there's always something that happens while plumbing the loop that makes you wish you had :)
That is so SOOO true from my personal experience.

@tet5uo: The rad in the top of your case looks like a TFC, are you talking about the one hanging off the back? I have an RX360 up in the top of my 800d setup as push/pull and it is a tight fit lol but it works fine and is a solid rad. You can put some quiet Scythe GT's on there and never even notice them.

Gosh I haven't even got the case yet, wonder if I would have enough room to put the cooler for some Dominator RAM in there with a push pull setup.

This is the bit over the ram, keep in ind though this is an 800d not a HAF so it may be a little different.
