After using DDU to uninstall my old drivers and reinstalling the newest from Nvidia, my 1070 FTW seems to be running fine. Although when I run Witcher 3, it crashes to do desktop in minimized mode/"background"?  I loaded up a couple other games such as WoW, Rocket league, and even ran a Firestrike test and the results seemed normal when compared to other 1070 posts I have seem on here. The game crashes after about 30 seconds, the screen goes black, and my monitor flashes with the DVI symbol in the corner stating that it has reconnected. I am hoping its a quick fix that I have just yet to find online, and not an issue with my card/drivers.

Just for further clarification for myself, this firestrike score is on par with other results correct?

Thanks for your help,
-Vivid

You would need to click the "Compare Results Online" Tab on the upper right of you image above.

Yeah i clicked it, and it brought me to the compare page.
I was just curious if these scores appeared to be normal, and if so, why the card would be causing games such as Witcher 3 to crash.

I apologize if I am doing this wrong, but on your image you linked, it shows the ability to link the result with the fs/****** suffix. On my it says my results have a problem that my GPU is not recognized. I don't know if I should run it again, or maybe because I only have the basic version of 3DMark.
    There is this suffix: 3dm/13742436

1070 being labeled are not recognized / generic VGA in 3DMark's tests is a known bug. 3DMark has to fix it on their end.

    This ^
Your link http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/13742436 will show the rest once 3DMark adds the new GTX 1070 and 1060 to their list.
Give it a week or so.

Ok, thanks for your guys help. I am just unsure about my cards status, because the only really high intensity game that I run is Witcher 3, and it is hard to stress test it outside of 3dMark. It runs WoW, Rocket League, and Skyrim just fine. I am just making sure my card is not defective, and I can stop worrying if I need to replace it.

I guess my biggest question is if my 3dmark scores are good, and I can run other games such as skyrim and WoW without crashing, is my card working properly and its just the drivers and Witcher 3 fighting each other or the card being faulty.

Once again, thanks for bearing with me as I try to navigate programs like 3Dmark that I have never used before.
