Exactly how many different versions of it are there and how many does EVGA have?

Also what's the limiting factor that prevents SLI'ing of different PCB design?

Still doesn't explain exactly what is so different about the PCBs that won't allow them to be SLI'd
    I also find it strange that a 04G-P4-3979-KR can't be SLI'd with a 04G-P4-3978-KR nor can a 04G-P4-2978-KR/04G-P4-2976-KR be SLI'd with a 04G-P4-2977-KR

    Thanks anyway
