So I have a 1080 SC and I'm not comfortable installing the thermal pad mod  myself so I'm considering doing an RMA to get a card with the thermal pad installed.  I was just was wondering how long does the RMA process take if you live in the US and are we guaranteed to get a card with the thermal pads installed?

Depends on where you live and how much you're willing to pay for shipping.

I shipped my card to them on Monday November 7th for about $20 at UPS in Washington State.
EVGA received my card in California on Thursday November 10th.
They shipped the card back to me on Monday November 14th.
I received the card on Thursday November 17th.

So the process took about 10 days for me.

I highly recommend just calling them over the phone to start the RMA. Only took me a few minutes. Overall it was all very well taken care of by EVGA.
