Hi,

I have a question about my GTX 1080 Classified. Is it normal that the wire on the back of the card touches the heatsink ? Won't the plastic on the wire melt when reaching high temperatures ? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I don't know much about computers and this is my first big graphics card so I wanted to be sure.

I made some photos:

Also should I be worried about the black screen + 100% fans issue ? Or doesn't this affect Classified cards ?

Thanks.

    That wire, you're fine.
As to the BS 100 issue, I haven't a clue. I have the 1070 FTW and have experienced zero problems to date

    Hello StijnDC,

sorry for any confusion with your new GTX 1080 Classified.

There is no problem with the fan cable being oriented in that way. The heatsink pipes will not damage the cable in any way.
