Question about EVGA GTX 980 TI for newegg.

How long does it usually take for the GTX 980 TI from EVGA to appear on newegg after it's release? I am going to upgrade my computer and wanted to use their preferred payment plans.

    All depends on Nvidia stock numbers sent out on initial shipments to its resellers like EVGA,etc .Sometimes its a week ,sometimes longer.Even so when stock comes in don't be surprised if they sell out inside of 5 mins. Its happened before many times.

    So if this is the case, it would be a better idea to just order my stuff with a 980 and just use the step-up program?

    Again no promise that the 980TI will be a step up card .And if it does when .Technically the TI is still a 980 (same GPU) and EVGA is not obligated to offer it to the step up program.Never use step up as a insurance card for a purchase now .Its not meant to be used like that .
