I was thinking about using exhaust wrap around my PSU cables to make them look tidier. Has anyone tried this?

Here is an example:

I haven't seen it used on a pc, but I know on cars that it doesn't all that look tidy. It is thick and has to be wrapped in such a way that it is going to look funny inside of a computer. If you are doing a zombie build, maybe.

I've used it on automotive headers before and I really don't think it is going to work for you. What are you trying to achieve? If you're looking for an inexpensive place for paracord check out . I got coreless paracord from them for a lot less than I found anywhere else.

Thanks for the replies. What I am looking for is a way to wrap the cables in a 'neater' tidier fashion than using zip ties. So if anyone can recommend anything better looking than zip ties let me know please.

I would think the hook and loop straps would be your best bet, as they will blend in and better.

That is something I have looked at but I'm still looking at all alternatives

hard ware store like ace and get some flexible tubing slice one side and then cut to length. you can slide the wires in threw the slice and zip tie the ends that always looks good.

That's a good alternative as well. I'll investigate.

"Money saver" would be an old garden hose sliced and panted to match can hold many cords. Ideal is a broken or new flex hose the outer mesh is great.  a self Recycled lol
