The process of shrinking the CPU/SOC doesn't seem to be slowing down.

CPU and GPU products at 10nm might be available in 2017 as well. If there are no major glitches with a die shrink it should be a quick transition.

What happens when the nanometer scale is broken?

Not my fault if you're offended.

"The process" of shrinking the CPU/SOC doesn't seem to be slowing down....

That doesn't mean squat when it comes to the CPU/SOC's performance outcome. Intel/AMD/IBM can all say that same message but it won't mean anything if all they're doing is reducing the power consumption. We still can't get passed 5.0ghz without utilizing watercooling or LN2 cooling. That's a fact, nobody can get a 5.0ghz CPU going on air, period.

"Oh ya we continue to improve the quality of our CPUs by reducing the amount of watts required...!"

Edit: In other words, you have gotten nowhere...? The same bogus information we have been hearing for the past 2 years.
