Hey guys, well I am in the planning phase for a new small form factor build.  If you do not remember me, I did the build on a Digital Storm Bolt II case where I redesigned the front assembly so I could integrate a custom loop into the build.

Since I am into small form factor challenges, I decided to try this with a Falcon Northwest Tiki case.  It is my personal favorite case for a sff but it is lacking the cool touch of a custom loop. XD  So time to put the design hat on and see what I can some up with.  Got the case so far and now I am motivated to get this build on.  Since I am in no rush, I am looking to have this build done within a month or two.

Here is the case I just received.

Here is my last Tiki build.

The motherboard I will be using is the EVGA Stinger Z170.  Today I mounted a EKWB Supremacy EVO Copper block onto the board and mounted the board into the case so I can start designing a layout for the radiator and fan.  Got the idea for the layout but still need to tweak it a little.

Decided to design a front end that will act as a water distribution panel for the water cooling.  Got Jim from Clockwork Industries helping me out on this one.  I sent him the design and he will be building it.  Huge thanks to Jim on this one.  Here is the design.

Over the time frame that Jim has been working on this portion of the project, he has been updating me with the pictures.  Here is the build pics of the water distribution.

Thanks guys!  Here is an update.  The front distribution block is now done and now moving onto the base distribution block.

    Enjoy!

I did a rendering of what the case should look like when I am done.  Don't have a color in mind yet but that will be decided later.

The Macaw logo was inspired by my Blue and Gold Macaw.  Hi Marley!! Since Falcon Northwest uses a Falcon for their logo, I decided to go with a Macaw.

    This was another rendered idea.

I was wondering how you would do that on such a small case. Pretty cool!

Thanks notfordman.  It takes a lot more planning than building on a small rig like that.  The integrated water channels is almost the only option.

Update - I finished the design on the base a couple days ago.  Sent it off to Jim @ Clockworks to be built.  Will update with progress pics once I receive them from Jim.

Yeah, with the very little amount of space in this case, the radiator is going to be located on the door.

    Thanks

Getting design ready for the front sheet metals but had to change the logo so it would be easier to machine.  Sent the new design off to the fabricator today and should have by next week.

On the other side of things, Jim over at Clockwerks Industries is now working on the base.  Looking awesome!!

Will add update pics of the base as Jim sends them to me.

Thanks!  I am going with a EKWB 120mm RAD.  It will be mounted to the door.  The reason for quick disconnects.

Today I received the sheet metals from the shop.  Did a test fit and looks to be good.  Have a look.

Hey Knight, I am mainly using Autodesk Inventor Pro 2017.  I used that for the sheet metals, water distribution blocks, and renderings.

Very creative way to move coolant around, and it looks awesome. You should patent that design dude. Wonder if there's a way to somehow laminate the two pieces together so the small screws aren't even needed.
