Thanks a lot . Yea I've thought about painting the mb though I don't think it's worth it, no red will be seen in the end once all the components are in and blocked up. Look at how the system was before the rebuild (in the first post)

Hey guys,
 
So if you couldn't tell from the renders, I will be getting a custom res. This will be going in the 5.25" bays of the case. Not sure if anyone picked up on this but in one of the earlier posts I did mention that something special will be going in the 5.25" bays.
 
Clockwerk Case Mods has been hard at work over the last few days making the res for me and it looks awesome! Make sure to check out their page!

I am proud to say that the Green Molecule build has been nominated for February 2015 Mod of the Month over on Bit-Tech. It's a great honor to be nominated along such awesome builds. Thank you :)
 
If you've enjoyed the build log so far please have a look at the nicely written article and cast one of your votes to show some love for my build, and stay tuned for more as I get closer to completing this build.
 
Here is a look at the water blocks I will be using. I'll have to admit I have had these photos for a while, just not sure why I didn't want to show them until now.
 
Firstly a look at the GPU blocks as well as the CPU block mounting frame and MB block before painting. The CPU and MB blocks were both showcased already painted in a previous post.
 

 
Also the polished bridge between the blocks for SLI

As you can see from the pics the blocks are EK FC670 waterblocks. These will fit some reference 970s with the short style PCB so I chose to keep my 670 waterblocks and continue to use them in this build.

The custom res arrived from Clockwerk Case Mods and tonight I had some time to play around with it and take some cool photos. I hope you agree with me that this is the coolest res you've ever seen!

In the pictures of the res and front panel, the front panel looks lighter, but looking at pics from the beginning of the post the front panel looks deeper green, so IDK if looking at picture on a monitor is a fair assessment. Looking really good though.
