Thanks man! Sound sweet! If you are running a single monitor I bet you are getting better performance than I am. Having three monitors really sucks the power. I have even hit a wall once in a while with the RAM. This is why I know in my heart at some point I will upgrade this next year to a larger RAM'd set of cards...

Yeah, I am just running a single 24" monitor

Did not mean to derail you thread with previous post AB. Sorry.

But I would like to make suggestion that might work great for you. PWM Fans. EVGA has best working PWM control and so I use it to my advantage . Keeps me sane while not gaming and they ramp up while gaming with out any controllers.

You have not derailed my thread.... lol... That is what this is all about I need to check out this PWM stuff. I have a few of those fans...

Thanks AB, I bought 2 470 SC a bit back at a good price, but considering tri now, thanks to this post. I plan to use surround, so it looks to help a lot with that, just need to find another at good price.

Very sweet pics AB.  Tri-470s are outstanding as you have proved quite well.  Now that the new cards are out, I'm seeing a lot of very good deals on these cards.  You made a fantastic decision IMO.

        Coolermaster HAF X Case

(Work Rig Identical, but w/  EVGA GTS250 GFX card, 80GB X-25M G2 and HAF922 case)

Ok folks... This is the finished product. I really dig the white on black and have to tell you that in person this is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar sexier looking than any of these pics show...

I had to replace the MOBO, so this is a new one today, and I added the white wires, a blue LED rear fan and an LED string up in thback of the RAD to give a "Blue hue" to the system in the dark. It worked perfectly. So well in fact that my night camera cannot pick it up to well.. lol... Oh well.

I am please all of my goals have been achieved, that the chances I took in purchasing the white wires and blue LED's paid off. And this has become in my mind, my best work.

Thank you for all of your kind words, support and I hope you too can have a smile on your face when you view it... AB...

P.S. I do have a few wonderful members that are sending me stickers for the PSU and a backplate for the top 470... Those will be installed at a letar date

Thanks man...

On a side note... As seen in the pic below I made a change in the loop. I used a few parts to make a "U" in the loop. I found after the water became warm (It's neutral point) that the hose allowed for enough give in the hose to limit the water flow. So I eliminated that issue and almost eliminated the flow restriction.

The finishing touch was when I installed the highest flowing insert on the EK block. The end result was a 2c drop across the board on all my test runs. Literally a 2c in drop.  Additionally I now see a faster fluctuation in the water temps than before.

Anyway.. Just thought I would put that out there. Playing with the plates in the CPU Blocks still has a place in our world as does the need to pay attention to those hose bends...

Interesting point you make here.  First off, the EK plates make a huge difference.  Plate 1, for me, is simply insane.  I don't have a flow meter, but I really don't need one to see the increase in flow over the stock plate.  My temps dropped about ~2C also using that one.  I didn't install any of the others to really test since they are a pain to redo etc, but that plate did the trick for me.

Sooooooooooooooooo... Autumn is here, the leaves are changing... MOH sucks and that gives me extra time on my hands... And I realized it has been over three months since building a new complete system! The agony! I have decided I no longer find Overclocking to be as thrilling as it once was to me. So I no longer need a dual purpose system and such. time to shrink the need a bit.

I decided it is time to build just a simple rock solid gaming system and call it good. So here is my list. All on order as a few moments ago and figure Halloween weekend I will build it. Unless of course it all comes in sooner and I decide to do it early "Cuz I wanna"

Corsair 800D (yeah a second one, me likie!)
Classified 3 770
920 DO (My last one )
Pair of 470FTW HC's
Feser 360    grrrr Out of stock... Have to go with a Black Ice GTX360 (Like them just as much)
Re-use my HK block poo on that... Changed to an all black EK Supreme HF (Link)
a pair of 1tb HDD's for RAID 0
Mushkin Black 1866's (Sick and tired of overpriced 2000's)
Single Dual bay XSPC res/pump assembly
Pretty blue White Feser hose
Crap load of Bitspower fittings
Corsair HX1000 (like these to much and can't bring myself to go bigger yet)
Lampton FC-5 V2 Fan controller (Link) (Wanted the new touch screen but not yet out) (Link)

Pics to come as the parts come it! Keep an eye out for my for sale thread. It will be full of good stuff! Including cases, Fresh 759 MOBO with blocks and so on

Hmm nice parts man, although I'd advise you to go Dual GTX 560 Ti FTW's that being they are cheaper and faster in most cases than a pair of GTX 470's, Unless you have these 470's laying around of course

Here a good review I found  that clearly shows that the 560- Ti's do pack a wallop in 2-Way SLI and the scaling again is masterful:

here the newegg price diffs of the 560 Ti verses the 470, just to give you an idea

Well I thought I would report back... Changed the Fan Controller to the FC5. Love it. Worth the hassle and testing to find out.

We are in the process of packing so things are a but nasty right now. But here are a few pics....
