Does a user have to uninstall Precision XOC to perform a driver update or can Precision XOC just be turned off during the procedure? How about during a DDU driver cleaning? Right now, I don't have Precision XOC running at startup, so it won't start with a reboot until I activate it.

I never have, Though I have found that the last 5 Driver Versions are causing all kinds of problems lately.

Driver problems or Precision XOC problems? I'm using driver 373.06 for my GTX 1070 right now and things seem fine, other than the long OS boot time if Precision XOC is set to run at startup, which I no longer have set that way anyway. I'm only curious if I ever update to a newer driver, if Nvidia ever gets their drivers working correctly.

Either way is fine. I'd recommend uninstalling though.
