I tried writing a support ticket, but that errored out. (twice - error 17)

Norton 360 is reporting (every three or 4 seconds) that the executable PSXW10 is trying to modify N360.exe (See Prec_1.jpg)

I un-installed PrecisionX, rebooted as instructed, deleted the EVGA directory under Programs (X86) - (When do we get a native 64 bit version?) and re-installed EVGA_PrecisionX_OC_Setup_v6.0.7.exe.   The two supplied screen shots are from the fresh installation.

As there is no reason for the PrecisionX to be trying to modify the Norton core, I'm a tad worried about what is happening. Could the setup program have been hacked in some way.

This is not a one of occurance as it is trying every few seconds and this soon fills up the log files, especially as I needed to clean months of this errors message.

Is anyone else seeing this, don't understand what is happening.

Many Thanks - Nigel

A better place to report this is to the software/Precision forum here: http://forums.evga.com/EVGA-Software-f22.aspx

Also, here is EVGA's contact info (telephone and email): http://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

    Arestavo,
Thanks for pointing me to the correct forum. I did have a hunt around for a better place, but I must have missed it.
I did try your link  but that just took me to the home page.
I tried using their "Support Ticket" ( www.evga.com/support/ticket/support.aspx ), but that just produced an error message (Error 17) as soon as I posted the question.  Tried it twice.

Why not just exclude the application from Norton. It's most likely an issue Norton will need to fix. Precison as a monitoring app, is going to be modifying files/memory every time it updates any aspect of what it is monitoring on the GPU. About every 5 seconds. I don't think it is actually trying to modify Norton. I think the program is just telling you what process was triggered in Norton. Norton is flagging Precision with unauthorized access to memory... IOW, it thinks it's suspicious activity.

Can't you just go into n360 and add Precision X as an exception? ALso, do you have windows 10?
