It's 2015 and I'm still using EVGA Precision X v4.2.1, but I do suffer the fact that the OSD does not work on 64Bit games and I only BF4 @ 64bit. So every other 2-3 months I come here looking to update my EPXv4.2.1 thinking by now EVGA has fixed these issues people are having and all is good, but no this is not the case from what I see on the forum. I want to continue playing BF4 @ 64Bit with an OSD! ...As a fan of EVGA I've been holding on too damn long! ...I'm ready to move on MSI Afterburner, but I'm not 100% sure about it. I would just like to know from your experience if I should go and deal with EPX16 or just move on to MSI Afterburner? Thank You for your info regarding my question.

Move to afterburner. Unwinder is the guy who made v4.2.1 for EVGA. He now works on afterburner full time.

Is this blasphemous? I switched to AB a few months ago... tired of Precision headaches, though, out of brand loyalty, I keep checking release notes and reviews hoping they'll get there eventually.

The newer interface of Afterburner is much easier to work with that the previous installments. I have tried every single version of precision X and had nothing but issues. So AB is a no-brainer.

Unfortunately, I still agree. I am using Afterburner, it works best.

I have always used and recommended Afterburner. Even when Unwinder was doing Precision there was still issues with it so I dumped it. Every now and then I would try Precision again when I did a new install of my os just to see if it would behave and usually there was always some issue. Afterburners setup is nice and it always works. I really cant remember having any issues with it.

Afterburner without question. Never had anything but issues with Precision. Also to note, the newest precision layout/interface is complete junk(my opinion so take it lightly lol). Only had select few issues with afterburner over all the years of using it.

I thank all for the quick response! I just notice Drerex made some nice looking skin for AB! I will uninstall EPX and go with MAB ...Lets see.

Yep, Afterburner is actually the best. Don't use older Precision X if you want to monitor also CPU ;) I don't know what EVGA taking so long time to add 64bit support for OSD in new Precision...

PX has had a lot of improvements in recent releases, if you have't tried it in some time I would recommend giving it a shot again. It is not 100% yet but getting better all the time, feature side it is quite good, supports most 64bit games, compatible with Origin Overlay and more.

What benefits has new PX against Afterburner? Cos I had it installed and it had nothing more and overlay did not work in most games I've tried...

Ok, I already setup Afterburner with Skin and OSD on BF4 played for 3 hours I love it, it's practically the same setup as having the EPX, but working with no issues. Again, Thanx!

I use AB. Precision needs some work...small font, jumped interface, not as user friendly. If they make is simple like AB, I'd go back.

I use AB last 2-3 months because with Precision X 5.27 I had crash to desktop, same as I press Alt + F4. But before 2 days I installed 5.2.9 for now work. I even see name of mine card.

Ya i think i randomly tested AB one time to just see what was different about it and i instantly just liked the layout more honestly and the fact AB has cpu monitoring also just really won me over as i was always curious what temps were in some games that are cpu intensive. Who knows, if precision can add them features and polish it out and more support for games, might try it out again but for now, AB has my vote.
