I'm also having a problem with Precision X OC. I have two EVGA GTX 780 Classifieds which work fine, but when using Precision X OC, it
doesn't allow one of the GPUs to downclock to idle speed (it remains at an elevated clock speed of (836 MHz GPU Clock, 3004 MHz Mem Clock and 937 mV), while the other it actually does downclock to idle speed (324 MHz GPU Clock, and 324 MHz Mem Clock, and 875mV) just like it should. I have even tried under clocking, and this doesn't solve the problem. I have tried reinstalling Precision X OC and even tried doing a "Clean Install" of nVidia's WHQL 372.70 Drivers and then it just makes the (opposite GPU as before) run at elevated GPU frequency, while the other GPU is now suddenly able to idle just fine. So I'm thinking it's possibly a bug related to the programming for the K-boost, since I can click the K-boost, but then it disables my NV Surround on the 3 monitors, only to leave the one side monitor to function.
(At this point I am forced to do another "Clean Install" and reinstall the nVidia drivers since it screws up the display drivers and can't go back to normal NV Surround - see below for details why.) Although while active, the K-boost button does make both GPUs run at full boost speed, but then when I try to click the K boost toggle button again, it returns back to the way it was, with one GPU at idle, and the other at an elevated GPU frequency (although a couple times I was able to get both GPUs to return to idle speed after toggling off the K Boost, except when this happens, I have to reinstall nVidia drivers since I can't get the display config to go back to the way it should be. (and yes of course I know to check both Windows 7 display properties and the nVidia Control Panel (under Display - Set up multiple displays, as well as the 3D Settings - Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX) but at this point in the testing, when the K Boost has been toggled off in my attempts to get the GPU clock to normalize, another problem occurs since I can no longer get the normal display configuration to go back to the NV Surround as well as the side monitor (3 monitors in NV Surround, and 1 additional monitor as the expanded desktop display). And when I use the Windows 7 Display properties to re-enable the NV Surround display, that works - except now when I go into nVidia Control Panel it doesn't show any options anymore. This same problem happened when I tried installing a USB display driver before, so I know it's a problem with the display drivers conflicting with the nVidia display drivers, so I simply just reinstall nVidia drivers with another Clean Install to fix this crazy problem. None of these problems happen when using Precision X 5.3.11 so I am back to Precision X for now. Thanks to EVGA in advance for any help with resolving this issue.
Edit: It was happening as of Precision X OC 6.0.6. Oh and nevermind, it's also happening with Precision X 5.3.11... now I'm stumped...
