I got a new EVGA GTX 1070 and started using Precision X OC. I tweaked my clocks and they were stable so I wanted to save the profile. I had the clocks set and right clicked on a blacked out profile to save the current settings to that profile just like in previous Precision X softwares. For some reason though, whenever I click on the profile I saved to, it brings me to power target - 112%, temperature limit - 92C, and the clocks at zero. I installed Precision X 16 and the profile saving functionality works as expected. I am using the latest version of Precision X OC. Thank you.

Something similar happens to me when using Precision X OC. I make my changes to GPU and MEM clock offsets and then I right click to save the profile. When I hover of the saved profile the GPU and MEM clock offsets are at 0. If I left click on the saved profile the GPU and MEM clock offsets do go to 0. The voltage indicator on the left shows yellow and red.

Same thing happening here (1080 FE), which is why I'm using afterburner at the moment. Also Precision X OC would not apply any of my memory overlocks. Any fixes for this???

If you have issues saving profiles do the following:
    1. Change your sliders to the position you want, or type the values and then ENTER
    2. Click the Apply tab
    3. Right click a profile number to save it with the current applied settings. To change an existing profile, right click to unload it, then right click again to save it.
    4. Click the Default tab to delete all of the profiles.

    The profile number highlights mean
Dark - Profile is inactive. Right-clicking the profile number toggles it as Active or Inactive. When you hover over the profile with your mouse, the last stored values will show.
    White - Profile is active
    Blue - Profile is selected

The interface is confusing because right-clicking doesn't actually delete the profile as the tool tip says. I spoke to EVGA support recently and they said they were working on creating better documentation for this

This issue is certainly not fixed in the current version. I have version 6.0.7, your website has the latest version as 6.0.7 released 9/26/2016. So if you're going to make a claim, you should make sure its accurate instead of just guessing before posting it, especially given the aggravation this has caused me and others. The LAST thing you want to do is say an issue is fixed when it clearly is not.

OK, well then the issue is currently fix for me using the current version (6.0.7) for my GTX 1080 Cards.
I do not use this version on my older cards. I use Version 5.3.11

Re: Precision X OC Will Not Save Profiles 2019/01/22 09:00:03 (permalink)
Davisron867 is quite correct. This issue IS NOT fixed in version 6.2.7.

In order to save profiles it is necessary to:
    1. Make sure the Profile number you want is grayed out
    2. Set Voltage
    3. Set Power Target
    4. Set Temp Target
    5. Set PRIORITY
    6. TYPE IN the GPU Clock Offset
    7. PRESS ENTER
    8. TYPE IN the Mem Clock Offset
    9. PRESS ENTER
    10. Click on APPLY
    11. Wait a few seconds then RIGHT-CLICK a grayed out Profile number

I've just spent the last 45 minutes testing all of the various fixes posted on this thread and others and the above sequence is the only thing that works with ver 6.2.7.

EVGA's documentation is worse than useless. They should be ashamed.

Worst part is that Asus GPU Tweak actually works better with my card (GTX 960). I've been buying EVGA cards for years and have never had an issue. The hardware is great, but their software leaves a lot to be desired.
