I prefer EVGA software as well. Seems easier to use and more cleaner of a layout. But yes. Its a very buggy piece of software and to be blunt. It sucks. And it has sucked for a long time now. They cant get it together over there with their own software for what ever reason. So I switched to Afterburner as well. I need stability over simplicity.
