Just updated to the latest Precision X 5.2.8 and noticed that the application loads a bit slower than the prior version on boot up. Is this just me, or has anyone else noticed it is a bit slower on rebooting the PC? Thanks.

5.2.9 has been out for a few days now. Try that.

There is a thread just started about Afterburn. Maybe you should try that and see how it works for you. It is very similar to the Precision, more user friendly and I would say reliable...

I may try that. Just installed 5.2.9 and it still seems slower than 5.2.7. ?

Hmm, give afterburner a try, or consider even going back to 4.2.1

    4.2.1 is always faithful

You guys were right. Installed AB and my startup problem went away. No problem now. The newer versions of PX seem to delay startup of my machine. ?? Thanks for the help.

The New PrecisionX is so horrible, I had to install it on a system I just built last night for a buddy. Holy cow so many things wrong with that tuner!!! I was beside myself how Evga could release such garbage with 400-500$ Nvidia gpus..... So much didn't work on it, I decided instead of list what is broken, I will just list what works.
    The Menu toggle button works.
The fan curve settings button works.
K-boost appeared to activate, but when I looked in Nvidia Inspector I saw the voltage was not altered any way from default.
That is all that actually worked......

I did find a site that had the legacy 4.2.1 version of PrecisionX that does work.

I did actually, but on reboot, it seemed to make the PC hang. I am running Asus AI Suite and it took that almost 30 seconds to load, but after deleting PX, it took AI Suite about 6 seconds. ?? No problems with AB. I don't know why there is an issue all of a sudden. Never occurred before with other PX versions. ??

I too use Al Suite and never experienced a problem with precision at load or during use of the system. However I prefer afterburn as it is simpler and probably I am used to it.

I did give it a try but I found it much harder to use.
Only because I have used EVGA PrecisionX for so long.
