Like the title just says, EVGA Precision is hiding its tray icon (including temperature) but it's definitly running.

After a restart it just disappeared (no tray icons), but it didn't dissapear on the Logitech G19 screen.
If i cancel "EVGAPrecision.exe" and start it again it just works fine.

So how can i fix that issue? I already tried to uninstall it, but there may be some hidden files i need to delete to make it work properly again.

Click on the try icon up arrow then select customize then for each icon you want to display in the taskbar choose "Show icon and notifications" im on Windows 7 btw.

I have the same issue as the OP. It seems that whenever I restart, the EVGA precision tray icon disappears even tho the app itself is running (I'm monitoring temp).  To make it re-appear, I have to manually disable the tray icon (config > monitoring), hit ok, then enable the same tray icon again, and BAM, it comes back.  The feature seems bugged to me.

Old thread, I know, but I am having the same problem.  Sometimes upon restart, the Precision tray icon wont display GPU2 temp (it is hidden), even though everything else is working fine.  I have to manually 'hide' and then 'show' both GPU temp entries to get it to come back.  Sometimes, while in the Notification Area Icons window, the entries for Precision GPU1 temp and GPU2 temp will both be labeled as GPU1, or flip flop back and forth.  Very annoying to have to manually fix this every so often.

I have the same problem a clean install of Windows.  Both Precision and the OSD apps are running, but I can't see their icons in the tray.  If I have to make a change to OSD I have to kill it and then restart it.

This is with EVGA Precision 2.1.2 on a less than 24 hour old build (as of this post) of Win7 SP1 64bit.

Well from the handful of threads on this issue with no response I guess we are content with Precision tray icons not working properly?  No other program gives me this problem with keeping my tray icon config.
