HAZMAN_THE_GREAT I want to know if some of you are still making payments on your cars and what kind of deals you guys got. Yes yes I know I am nosey like that. And no not trying to compare people to each other its just my assessment on how people are doing in the economy now days. Its like how I like to ask people about their home mortgages.
I make zero payments.
Justin
Nice!!! My next car purchase I plan to pay it all at once so I dont have to worry about being in debt and the interest. I wish cars would be one of those purchases that are tax exempt lol. But more than likely ff it is a car above 35K I probably will make payments on it. Unless I can get a job that makes 100K a year.

I agree with the slow and steady comments. Here is what happens when I go slow and steady (well 68-75mph). [Edit]: I was already down to 3/4 tank before I left.

I switch between a set of MT Street Tires for Shows/Cruises and Skinnies/Drag Radials for the strip. Just depends on where/what I want to do.

I forgot how much I ended up financing, but after a $2,500 down payment, my monthly payment is $300 at 3.29% APR.
I still owe $17,500 and if instead of spending money modifying my car, I would have sent bigger payments, let's say I'd be down to $1,500 for the car loan.

Yeah cause kids are the ones that automatically drive riced out civics. And most people have no clue wth he's probably running another the hood. Honestly, I was about to post something about the flames til he posted the horse power amount. Below isn't my car but is a guy with a 1k hp Supra that has enough power to rock whatever look he wants..I still think it looks ricey. I also don't like the flames on the mustang but appreciate the work that went into it ten fold.

You gotta admit, kids and ricers is a big stigma and it's usually them driving em to, but more often than not (and i'm sure balto was referring to these as well) but the "Ricers" are not people that actually run hundreds of ponies at once, but ppl that slap on a cherry bomb, a CAI and think they are the cock of the walk so to speak... We are talking two toned, can sprayed clunkers that are...well crap. Every damned honda I see wants to race me just cuz i'm in a tiburon and listening to the broken exhaust....it's enough to drive a man mad.

Rush is correct. I by no means meant anything towards you Hallowen. If you're running what your running it could be pink for all I care, you have enough go that you can do whatever you want and I'll still just see tail lights for days (I'd probably still lose if you started in 4th gear). Same story with the other guy's car I posted. I hate the camo look but love what he's done mechanically to the car. What I meant is I don't like people associating young adults with riced out cars. Riced out cars happen at all ages.

What is the point of denigrating "Ricers"? Aren't we all just automotive enthusiasts? They just happen to like Asian cars and perhaps can only afford simple modifications. Regardless, they are still enthusiasts.
