Don't be shy, you have to start somewhere.

Not being "shy" so to speak, just looks silly as heck. BIG white box and a gray spec in the middle.

Run some pogs for a couple days you will get a lot of badges fast.

Pogs?  = Poor Old Guys? or Pull On Galoshes? Acronym for something else because I cannot find a pog................or is this like snipe hunting? Send the new guy out searching for something they won't find Anyhoo, my goal for now is this challenge going for the (not too far out) GOLD and trying to get in the top 100 individual producers in the challenge along with and including holding off robbysites (I am toast in a few hours )..........I had a head start but it looks like he has more horse power!!!

So what Bill1024 said is dead on. POGS is really Skynet pogs  https://www.theskynet.org/ and It is an excellent place to start crunching if you want to get some badges on your sig. What makes POGs cool is it is an astronomy project and points are gained by "using your spare computing power to process radio astronomy data". There are other disciplines like math (Primegrid) and the true analog to folding GPUGRID, which is biochemistry, biology. With one intel quad core with HT you can get started getting badges in a short time with POGS. There are many disciplines to choose from. So Put on Galoshes and get with it after the challenges. You can crunch and fold at the same time!
ps - I am trying to catch you but I may run out of time since I have a bad 780ti and I started so late.

Thank you for the link! I will look in to POGS to decorate my banner and crunch some numbers up! Also, thank you for mentioning the fact I can run Folding and Crunching @ the same time.
 
PS to your PS.........Not to wish hardware failure (which I do not) on anyone but Even with that said, you are edging closer on every update. I was holding you back 8-10 slots now your within 6 I have no more hardware/ well I do but it is all in pieces right now work in progress, so they say. Onward to top 100 producers!!!!
 
PPS: Exploring the " Completed Pending Validation".......@robbysites......could you hurry up and validate? I'm trying to outrun someone!!!

Just remember to go to TOOLS in your boinc manager and select Add project... From there you will find the Skynet pogs. Select that and if you have to create an account use the same user name and password. Additionally if you go to the actual project page and log in, you can create a profile and get User of the Day. That is what that number is in the wreath on the right side of my sig.
