bcavnaugh Received the Amethyst badge from project The Riesel Problem (LLR) Today.
A very very Nice color bcavnaugh
Thanks, I think I am seeing color changes in your banner. Are you not posting your new Badges? I see a lot of Gold on yours.
Guilty as charged, BUT... This time my excuse is that I haven't hot any Notification about any gold, however, I did get a Notification about a GFN badge, which I saw 5mins ago. This is the Turquise GFN WR badge, taking PrimeGrid almost a month to validate. Yesterday I also earned some stuff from Planet Skynet Pogs. I'll post them later, a bit hard for me from where I am at the time.

Nope, no prime on those...... so far However, at one point I began Wonder, they say if they find a prime, the validation will take over double the time. On those WU's, they search for big ones, THE big ones . If they find stuff here, it's official announcment material. I'll run some more of those I think. They run for prox 200+hrs(GTX760/690), validation is 3-4 weeks. They pay is fair, 600K. But, if they find something here......team EVGA will be all over the Place and THAT would be fun Otherwise, I need one cullen only to get the Amethyst badge. What's in my way is The Skynet Pogs See, the other day, I was visiting the Skynet after the May Challenge to see how that went. I think we did fairly well. You bcavnaugh at 10th? Me i think 14 or something. This was first of june and I saw they recruited for the June Challenge. I entered. After a day or so the Challenge had 20 or something Challengers. I got this jawdrop when I saw I was at the lead. I thought what the heck, I'll step on it, see how goes. Today, after 8 days: So.. I got a bit carried away. This guy "Murphy.cz"(7) will beat me, he entered a day ago, and he's got huge cannons, he's in the same League(not team) as the guy With grandchildren everybody loves I'll stick to it though Don't know what other dino's will enter during this Challenge, but it will last out June. Due to temp's, I have to ease Down on the GPU work these days. I'll stay tuned.

Yep, the heat will reduce new badges for all of us as well as our Team Ranking. Don't really care about member ranking so I hope we start to see new Crunching Members soon to help offset the our Team Ranking.

if you're looking for new badges, PrimeGrid just added a new application with badges, Extended Serpinski Problem.... they run fairly short compared to the last few challenges over there, and alot cooler for me.... getting about 60 per task, so it would take a bit to get the badges....

Not really badges for ourselves but to keep the Team Rank stable and moving to the Top. To bad they do not have Team Badges. Some of the Project I Crunch have no badges but I sill will Crunch on them. Projects that do not have badges my goal is to hit at least 100,000 points on each project and so on. Badges are an added plus for me like EVGA Bucks for Folding Members. And it is all for fun for me and as you know we have Great Team Members.

lol, I couldn't come up with another way to say that PrimeGrid just started a new application with badges.... Team badges are kind of a weird thing.... SHould they be more directed towards the team accomplishments overall, or in general? A team could easily reach a couple million in points in a project with 2 or 3 heavy hitters. Do they deserve a team badge any more than a team with 15 members with older equipment, just as dedicated as the other team, but unable to throw up the same numbers? You make team badges based on total team points in a project, it doesn't mean as much, you add in stipulations such as so many members over a certain point value, you exclude the smaller teams, as well as the smaller crunchers on the big teams. Maybe a better plan would be daily, weekly and monthly team badges. Almost unofficial challenges. The top teams for the given day, week and month get badges....

10k points for bronze.... at about 60 points for a 40 min task, 8 tasks per set, so 480 points every 40 minutes, around 1500 every two hours, 3000 every 4 hours, roughly 12-13 hours for the first badge....

Roughly 18K for one 24h run then. Fairly Nice credit for PrimeGrid. Nice find on the new work RHMash
