Uninstall the drivers and run a driver sweeper or disk/registry cleaning program like CC cleaner in Safe Mode.
Then reinstall the drivers.

Make sure also that your Nvidia Control Panel Global Settings are set to default.
My score doubled after I figured that out

My old processor was a q6600 too.  I am currently at 4.2ghz on my 3570k I wonder how much my score would change if I upped it to 4.5?

313.96. overclocking your cpu will help with your score. I am just under 4000 with my cpu at 5.1ghz

I took you up on the offer and I ran with my overlclock with a single 660ti 2gb standard and my score was 1525 :)  Lets see how your 580 Ultra scales? 


Using the air cooler on the 580 for now.
