I've had a change in my PC work space.  When I moved out to my own house, I went from living in a room to actually having a bedroom.  So much more spacious not having to sleep in the same room as your PC equipment.

Here is how my PC workstation is setup.  Folding rigs, Mercury & Quartz, on the left side.  Samsung 22" LED 1080P TV in the corner, this is what Mercury & Quartz are connected to.  PS3, Asus 23" 1080P monitor, and Logitech Z-5500 5.1 1KW peak surround sound on the right side.  Under the right side is my PC rig, Crystal.

Crystal: Intel i7 930 3.6GHz(OC) / EVGA X58 758 / 3x 4GB Corsair XMS3 / GTX 660Ti FTW+ / 2x GTX 560Ti SLI
Quartz (mothball): Intel i7 2600k 3.8GHz / EVGA Z77 Stinger mITX / 2x 4GB Corsair XMS3 / GTX 660Ti SC

Post #191 above.............  My desk is a door bought from home depot and painted/poly'd.  - Inexpensive and does the trick as you can see. Also, I custom made (sculpted) the stand for the vertical Samsung monitor. Next...............

Here's mine, that will be completely overhauled between now and the end of next year:
 

 
That's inside my bedroom as I did a whole separate setup for the consoles and movies in my living room. (My wife is beyond awesome, but there are limits for what I can get away with... Brad comes to mind...LOL).
 
Planned upgrades are a Mountain Mods X99 4 Way SLi build w/ a 55' 4K Monitor and a 7.1 Soundbar. Will do a nice upgrade on the furniture as well!

This is my new setup in my new apartment. I finally have a room just for my computer!!! :)
 
This is a panorama from my iphone. I still need to get some extension cables for my wires to clean them up.
My tower is right under my A/C vent and in front of the window. I can wait for winter!
If you notice, my tower is on a white box I built. I just could not stand not being able to look inside my 900D, especially after I add my WC setup. Also, I get to use my entire desk since my tower is not on it.

looks good and has leg room as well. I am assuming your monitor would be in the corner like you have it now. Also you could move your tower to the desk and enjoy looking at it without having to turn your head so much
