I have a 750i ftw on a system I just put together and from the get go I was getting post code FF. I power cycled a bunch and hit the reset cmos button and pulled the battery, something did it and I was able to install windows, and restart a few times. After installing a driver set and trying to reboot I went back to the FF post code.
specs are
hx-750
750i ftw
e8500
2x2gb ocz 1066
5870
ocz agility 120gb
wd 1tb black

I tried pulling all the ram and with no ram in the mobo I am still getting FF. dead mobo? I have about had it with evga mobos, Ive RMA'd this one about 3 times, even made the move to an x58 micro build and had so many problems I sold it off and came back

I would check with Tech --- I just got an RMA board that was just like that -- only FF nothing else -- didn't matter what components I had in it -- also the reset button didn't work on mine -- ended up sending it back -- waiting on another one at the moment.

Usually boards that go straight to FF are bad boards.
