Why is this a sticky post????? All you evga had to do is lock the first topic someone made about it and say don't discuss it. These sticky post at the top take up over half the screen again.

Personally, I wonder why this is even a topic. Not like this sort of thing isn't already clearly outlined in the forum guidelines. Thinking that you need to make a special case for it, it an error in moderation. Just moderate with the existing forum guidelines like they're there for.

It was the news story about Jared...the subway thing. Like it's some major deal or something... It's ignorant if you ask me. It's not like it's some taboo thing.

Yes, the purpose of this thread was to remind those people who are still breaking the forum rules on this, even though they are already read the forum TOS. Looks like RJ decided instead of giving a warning prior to this thread, that he would be nice, and remind those who don't follow these, and other rules that are posted. RJ should get thanks for doing this. If it was me who caught the other thread first, I would have possibly done a warning instead. I'm more strict with the subject of Porn, Language, etc. I figure if someone has read the rules, like they are supposed to, they would not break the rules. Still some like to push the envelope.

Perhaps they meant like no news about the stars.....like so and so wins the 2015 award for bast distance with a ping pong ball or something. I know of the article that this thread is about, and out of respect I won't mention it, but I have read it and it really was nothing bad IMO. However I do realize this is a family forum.

My point was only that no member should receive a warning like Xrayman claims he would do if he seen the post. The member didn't break Terms of Use for the forums. I could careless the topic was removed. Lots of other places to check out what people have to say about it. XrayMan

I'm just shocked you actually think a member deserves a warning for posting a news article. That article had ZERO pornographic material in it. If it did, i would be 100% with you about giving them a warning or ban.
