Im going to be using 3 Acer gd235hz 23.6inch screens and running surround on them... I am also looking to water cool the system. I need some suggestions on which cards to get... I was looking at the 570 2.5g but have yet to find a waterblock that I could use on em... so I am pretty much open to anything and everything... thanks Side note: I will be running 1920x1080 don't plan on going any higher

I run the same setup with monitors personally I would go with the 580 3GB cards, but if your only going to be running max 1920x1080 thats only going to use one of your monitors then you can get away with two 580 1.5 GB cards but I think you meant 5760x1080 to do surround gaming. I run two 580 1.5 cards and haven't had any issues with running games in surround at 5760x1080 but I don't find the need to have every setting cranked to the max either but also 3Gb 580's will help help with 3d gaming also.

Ya i meant 1920x1080 on every screen WOOPS...so with your 1.5 cards do you find yourself ever running out of VRAM?
And both 1.5/3.0 do have waterblocks right?

I don't ever have issues with my vram running out but I also don't find the need to run all my games with everything maxed to the bone. As for water blocks the 3GB cards are still reference designs so you won't have any issues with finding a water block, I used www.coolingconfigurator.com and came up with these water block results for the evga 580 3gb cards hope this helps! Your system will use the Vram availible until it finds either the max Vram on the card or the game no longer needs more.
For anyone to claim they never see over 1.5Vram used when running a 1.5 set of cards = why they never see over this usage. Period.
If this same person ran two 2.5Vrams they would see the usage of 2.25 more often than they ever thought. Frankly I have seen mostly 1.750-1.900...
Does it take more eye-candy to get there.. Well of course it does. But why else would someone spend all the $$ to have three monitors if it was not for the visual gains/experience from that?
Do we need 3.0Vram on three screens 80% of the time? Not yet. But I can say without a single doubt 2.0Vram is about right at this time...
I suggest two 570HD's @2.5Vram...

I have looked at the 570HD's @ 2.5Vram...but I wanting to run water cooling through the system...and Unfortunately I was unable to find any kind of Waterblock to fit the card... Know of any? Thanks, J. Worthy

No I do not at this moment. But this is a good thread to read ( Link) and frankly you will find most have used a CPU block and added air cooling heatsinks to the Vram and been quite pleased. This is of course if you only want watercooling. Try this link ( Link) and it will guide you to this same solution. If that does not work to your liking, you either need to not go to the higher Vram and get a few 570's or go all in and get two 580's 3.0's so you can waterblock them... I can say though, that the 570HD's are about the same noise level as my 8800GT's had been. So unless the case is right next to you, or you run this system 24/7, the heat going into your room is not as great as the older cards or 580's would. These are pretty well balanced cards for the most part... Good luck with your choice!
