Well this could be fun 1 day to go.F@H has started giving 76xx GPU WU,s.Lets hope mads team is getting them to
Dropped my ppd by 3 to 4 k. If you are running gpu on advmethods you mite want to take it off takes me 12 hours to run a 76xx.I will be changing mine when one that is running ends .I took my cpu off advmet to going to try getting ever WU done I can.
  I will be down a hour or so on Friday adding a i7 2600k , going to do a fast oc on it.I hope splitting my 260 and 560 up will help with ppd like i have read.

disable advmethods and you won't get the 76xx units, they are advmethod units

I am pulling those now WU now too. dropped my PPD from the 570s from 21k to 13.5k haha.  Was kind of pissed off though.  Got up this morning only to see that 24 hours prior, windows update forced a reboot of my PC even though its disabled to do that and killed my production a whole day haha...

take adv. off all your gpu,s you will start getting 80xx.
I have taken adv. off my cpu to try and get 1 more smp in before reset

I think Mad stopped over at my house this week. I've been having driver problems all day yesterday and the day before culminating in a problem where I cant even get the newer drivers to install.
 
Anything past 258s wont install. (the 258s were NOT good folders)

The first thing I always try when I have problems is System Restore, so I don't know if you have a good restore point to go back.
 
Did you try to run Driver Sweeper, and there is also a thread for trouble shooting:

Another program I use to clean the register (and my system) is CCleaner
 
And driver version 258.96 worked well for me, I've used this driver a very long time... very stable:
258.96 Vista-Win7 32bit
258.96 Vista-Win7 64bit
258.96 XP 32bit
258.96 XP 64bit

yea it came back about 2 hours ago. But it didnt queue up the results, it dropped them all, so i lost 9 of the 8033 WU and 2 of the CPU WU, which they are about 13.5k each. SO that sucks big time. Not to mention the 24 hours prior I lost to a windows update forced reboot... Bad couple of days.

Dude, I feel your pain.   I effin HATE comcast.  I've lost count of the number of
days I've lost waiting for them to show up.  (Or the time I've wasted getting service reconnected because
they disconnected my service instead of the deadbeat neighbors)
 
If I could get away with it, I would order new service at my place every month and then not be home (whenever) the installer showed up, not answer (or return) their phone calls or if an installer caught me at home, refuse them entrance. 
 
Companies like Comcast are the reason we have to have government regulation (what little they have)

Sorry guys! I was doing the math, and the WU i lost from my PC reboot and the Comcast down time, would have net around 150-160 points. That would have been enough to put us in to the 1st and 2nd slot
