yes we are!!! ahahha a chearleader..... anyhow, i was tired of seeing my htpc i7 hitting 79c @ stock speed. So I looked around and ended buy a Raidmax CPU Cooler X3 for $8! Havent seen any reviews on this cooler but, I am sure it will do better that the stock cooler. I will be installing it tonight and see how it can hold down my i7 overclocked. at stock the i7 makes 8-10k. I will be shooting for 3.6-3.8 ghz. That should give us a few more PPD!

Yea, we cant let off though. One of the reasons we catch up is due to -bigadv units. The big hitters arent getting points for a couple days at a time, so tomorrow for example when they cash them in, they can jump up 500-700 Contest points.

Pushing mine as high as they will go without starting on fire haha. The AC at my place doesnt get turned on until Mid/Late April, and its already been in the 80s here! So I currently have a very windy place haha.

We can do this.. I am running 2 gtx 460 pushing 25k ppd I was looking to get another card but money tight so this is what she can do for now get it or not this been fun tring..

Hey fellas I just swapped out a gtx 470 for a gtx 580. I still have two in my sig rig. Both card where producing 20k each. after I installed the GTX 580 they only produce 14k??? I cant figure this out. I tried my smp -6 and I still only get 14k on them. Why would they drop 6k each?

Only 2 things I can think of .Reinstall drivers ? Make sure tracker is set to advm. and gpu3 ? I know when I added my 560 to my 260 I had to reinstall drives but when its add 260 to 560 it works ok not sure why but thats way it worked out for me.

Thank you for your reply! I do have -advmethods and gpu3 checked. I tried to re-install the drivers and I am still getting the same thing! This is killing me. I can put this GTX 580 on my other computer because the power supply doesnt have an 8pin plug. I am already using an adapter on my other GTX 580 so there is simply not enough plugs. I do have a Corsair Hx1000. Should I do the 24pin short with a paper clip? Do you guys recommend this? I think this GTX 580 is lowering my ppd and I should just slap my gtx 470 (tri sli) back in and have my other computer with two gtx 580's on my second computer. Should I do the 24 pin short thing with the paper clip?

I do have -advmethods and gpu3 checked. I tried to re-install the drivers and I am still getting the same thing! What drivers are you using? Check your GPU clocks and usage while folding to see if they are correct and 99%+. You might consider a driver rollback to 285.62 just as a test. This has been the most reliable driver for me. +66.73 lead... keep'em going folks.
