I'm already feeling much better - The road sign I took out is still laying in the snowbank . . . If I thought I could get away with it, I'd find someone with a big truck to claim it as a trophy - "I killed THAT with my Yaris!!"
And the car is repairable, only gonna cost me $250 for the deductible, which is fantastic in the long run, considering some of the alternatives.
On that note, fold your butts off, my Pimps! It's time to double down and see how far we can REALLY go!

Run every thing you got as long as you can.DO NOT HOLD BACK.GO GO GO.Its a PPD & WU race no handy caps team with most PPD& WU wins.Fold on PIMPS

- In regard to the points system, while modifying points to better reflect people's estimated points production may have reduced the gap between some of the teams, the decision has been made that ultimately it did not add enough value to the contest to justify using it.
- Team order changes very little with or without it.
- Removing the system makes a much closer race for the 2-4 and 5-6, and 7-8 positions in the qualifying round, which would be missing out on.
- Though the theoreticals behind the system are sound, there was too much controversy around the proper way to implement it, and at the end of the day I don't have enough free time to come up with a system I would deem adequately fair to everyone involved.
- This will remain in effect for the remainder of the contest period, so plan accordingly.

Hmmmm, between 7:30 and 10 am, I have a small series of Pimp Slaps landing. Nothing ground breaking, but they are numbers! I might be able to scare up 2 more systems to add to the pile on my desk, also.

The sixth place slot is very interesting!!! Sometime after 4 pm, I will be taking out my GTS 450 and replacing it with a GTX 580 so that should help a little bit! Anybody on the team know what GTX 580's are producing with these new work units??

It looks like its very possible for a 4th place slot now. Yesterday this time we were just over 600 points behind the 4th place slot, now we are at right around 400! I guess sunday we are getting back our last teamate? That will get us that 400 points right there! Also, carlitos, a 580 at reference speeds will probably push around 22k ppd if you are pulling the 802x/803x projects. If you OC them to around 850Mhz, they will pull around 24-25k. 450GTS to 580 is an insane increase in PPD. Good going man!

Awesome. Yeah that GTX 580 will be installed at about 5pm pacific. I should be getting another GTX 580 but this one won't be here till the 14th! Anyhow, I will be pushing my power supplies to the max!!!!! Will be shooting for 24-25k on those 580's. Damn so my GTX 470 are doing great at 20k a piece right now!

We got 4 days to get one more spot. The qualification round will end at 3/15/12 11:59 PM. FOLD FOLD FOLD AND PIMP SLAP right into forth place We been doing a really good job with never having a full team. Some time today for the first time every one on the team should be up and folding As of this posting we are 673.82 points back of 4th
