    Who uses optical media these days?
     
    Also you can buy a external drive that is significantly smaller and cheaper.

    I still have one. Guess I'm now old school. I use it to load older games.

    That makes me old school too. I have many older games and some software still comes on a CD. I see no reason why I should have to endure the expense of an external drive for this.
