I don know of any company that covers damage to other components when their AIO's leak. It's a risk you have to be willing to take......EKWB warranty is two years on AIO products.

Most companies cover components damaged if their AIO coolers leak.  It is non-conductive fluid, but can become conductive over time.

EKWB, Corsair and Cooler Master do not cover any damage to other compents caused by a leak in their AIO's. EVGA does not cover parts damaged by
AIO coolers. Best to read the warranty on these products.

That's strange. I've seen Corsair replace components in PCs that are damaged if one of their AIO coolers leak. Been seeing it for a long time now. be quiet! assured me they would replace any equipment damaged as well if their AIO cooler leaked. I was assuming EVGA would do the same.

EVGA_Jacobf can you confirm?

Just ordered my 2nd Titan X P!

If the EVGA kit is not released soon, I'll just order another 1080 hybrid kit and put it on this Titan X P (like with my first one.)

I am using the existing Titan X P PCB heat plate, and putting the AIO pump on the GPU.

I'll probably order 2 of these kits when they come out as the cards will look "cleaner".

Got tired of waiting! Just ordered a EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC) and EK-FC Titan X Pascal - Acetal+Nickel pre-fill with backplate form EKWB.
At the very least it will fit with no modifications and keep my Titan X Pascal cool.

Please post some pics once your water block is installed - thanks!

Here you go! Room temperature 72F, CPU 30C with 4.2 MHz overclock and GPU 28C no overclock. Max temperature CPU 52C and GPU 48C.
Very happy so far with this full loop from EKWB. I was able to use the original screws and backplate.

I think this will be the first kit that will have quick disconnects. Otherwise I don't understand why it's taking so long. It's a simple modification to the 1080 mid plate to make it compatible with titan xp.

My only issue is you have to take off the entire bottom bracket to get to the fan header to install the pump right? At that point you may as well just buy an entire GPU block like SptSpig did and get a EK Predator. Kind of negatives half the point of doing an AIO setup when the ease of installation is thrown out the window. The previous gen of Titan was just the top shroud only.

Thank you for the info.  I just researched the Predator and I think I might go that route as I would then have a very nice full cover block.

Except the EK Predator is going to cost you a lot more than the EVGA AIO is likely to cost, and in my case there's a space issue since I already have a Corsair AIO cooler on the CPU.

Over €400 to set it up.I don't wanna pay that myself.I'll put up with the noise until the Hybrid arrives.Spent enough already.

Re: Petion for EVGA TITAN X HYBRID 2016/10/30 11:55:44 (permalink)
I'm afraid this is the beginning of the end for having a factory-built custom cooled top end Nvidia card. The previous generation of Titan X only had few variants allowed from EVGA. Now this generation there is none and only Nvidia is allowed to sell them. The card has been out since August 2nd. It's now almost 3 months later and still no Hybrid kit from EVGA.

I think GPU partner companies such as EVGA knew this was a long time coming. Haven't you all noticed that EVERY GPU company now makes and sells PSUs, fans, cases, motherboards, memory, keyboard, mice, headsets, laptops, etc.? They knew they would have to expand their product line or eventually go out of business if selling GPU's only.

My mind was 100% set on having a CPU & 2x GPU AIO water cooling setup but it looks like I'm going to have to go custom loop that I've been trying to avoid like the plague for the longest time. I think to make this easier on me I'll end up going the EK Predator route with the prefilled water blocks since I doubt we'll see any new generations of Titans with anything but a stock cooler. My case is setup for an AIO layout now but I think if I just jump ship and go the Predator route it'll be easy to just swap out the GPU's in the future and have a nice plug & play setup. Technically I'll have better cooling but it will cost more, have less resale value, take longer to install/setup and have a higher chance of leaks versus just sticking to the AIO route.

I can't do anything less such as 1080's or the supposed 1080Ti's since there will always be games that struggle unless you have 2 of the top-end GPUs. Monitor tech advances faster than GPU tech and I doubt we'll ever see the day of only having 1 GPU to run every game at max settings on max resolution. Having the top-end GPU is even more important when you see like 75% of all "next gen" DX12 games coming out that don't even support SLI or has to get patched in months later.

I sold my Corsair H110 and could not be happier with EKWB. My temperature on my CPU is 6C less than with my Corsair. My Titan X Pascal
Idles at 28C and max. Temperature is 48C. Definitely worth the $385.00 I paid for this setup.

Kind of negatives half the point of doing an AIO setup when the ease of installation is thrown out the window. The previous gen of Titan was just the top shroud only.

Except the EK Predator is going to cost you a lot more than the EVGA AIO is likely to cost, and in my case there's a space issue since I already have a Corsair AIO cooler on the CPU.

I sold my Corsair H110 and could be happier with EKWB. My temperature on my CPU is 6C less the with my Corsair. My Titan X Pascal
Idles at 28C and max. Temperature is 48C. Definitely worth the $385.00 I paid for this setup.

If the EK setup were that cheap in Ireland I'd probably go the same.Cost to get them here is almost half the price of another Titan.I can't justify that myself.

My only issue is you have to take off the entire bottom bracket to get to the fan header to install the pump right? At that point you may as well just buy an entire GPU block like SptSpig did and get a EK Predator. That's not right because you live closers to EKWB than I do here in the US.

Almost €450 when I priced the block, backplate and aio shipped to me.That's not small cash mate.I'll wait on this evga kit and read some reviews. If good I'll buy one,if not I may go the predator.Won't like parting with the cash for a cooling solution though.

I saved a little I used the original screws and backplate from my Titan X Pascal.

Will the so called troubles with the evga 10 series acx 3.0 gpu's slow down the release of this hybrid kit? This waiting is brutal.

You can use the existing 1070/1080 EVGA hybrid kit...keep the existing Titan X P baseplate, connect the AIO splitter to the fan header and NVIDIA fan, and mount the AIO cooling head to the GPU die.  I did this...took me about 30 minutes.

Not a "clean" look, but very functional...temps stay 45 C to 50 C under 115% TDP load with 28 C ambient.

Titan X p #2 (and EVGA 1070/1080 hybrid kit #2) come today...and I'll slap that on.

I'll run this until the official kit comes out.

Hi
I seen that mod and results are excellent.Standard cooler is starting to bum me out:)Seriously considering the EK predator like CptSpig. It's all money:)
