Watching the EVGA broadcast today, Jacob almost seemed to retract his earlier statements saying they were making a Titan Xp Hybrid kit. His words on the broadcast today were, "we're looking into it and considering it." That a lot different than his words earlier in this thread where he said they were working on it. I'm not sure if he was trying to be a salesman on the podcast today and trying to get people to buy the EVGA 1080/1070 FTW Hybrid, since EVGA will make more money off of this or what. Very confusing signals. I've already bought two Titan Xp so I'm not interested in buying another card. If push come to shove and EVGA does a 180 I'll just buy a 1080 hybrid kit (maybe even go to Corsair) and cutout the extra power port but I'll likely never buy EVGA again since they couldn't keep their word. Don't promise something if you aren't going to deliver it. I bought these cards on the word of Jacob who claimed an official kit was coming. Maybe I'm overreacting but I just spent $2,650 on two Xp and HB bridge so I have a lot invested.

I followed the instruction using 980 Ti Hybrid cooler and this is 3DMark score I got. passed 33K easily with just one Titan X. www.3dmark.com/3dm/14275496 Just amazing...

I've also made a $1200 purchase (soon $2400) on the announcement that a EVGA Hybrid kit for the Titan X Pascal was in the works. I would have bought the $67 980Ti Hybrid kits on Amazon if I knew this wasn't coming out and now they're sold out and $120+ now

Just mod the 1070/1080 one, takes a few mins, here is a mod that I am doing tomorrow, that someone else did: hardforum . com/threads/nvidia-announces-the-new-titan-x.1905829/page-19#post-1042460620 make room for 6pin, and cut small corner for extra phase chip, done!

You just add a disclaimer that this may void your warranty. Now it is on the user. Problem for eVGA solved, and users have an option.

implementation of manufacturing" is imminent ...

Hi, I bought a Titan X pascal too and I would also like to know if EVGA will release a hybrid kit for it. I bought all my previous card from EVGA, Gtx 690, 3*780,2*780 ti, 2*980 and 2* Titan X maxwell. I have been always serve like a king with Evga. I understand this time Nvidia dont allow any other board partner to sell the card so I had to bought it directly from them but I was not happy to (skip) evga in the process. I know evga hybrid is a big game changer for the stock cooler on those super hot running card. Im debating if I will buy a Hybrid kit for 1080/1070 and mod to fit the Titan X p or if I wait to see a maybe complete kit design for it. I ask kindely if any EVGA staff can tell me if yes or no they will make hybrid kit for the Titan X pascal. thanks

I honestly think EVGA is backing out on this or else they would be more transparent, what's to hide? Our only hope then would be a 1080ti to be released and the hybrid kit for the 1080ti would likely work on the titan xp. A lot of 'ifs' though.

I think this petition is on wrong place. What you expect... Jacob to go to sing in front of NVIDIA Building for permission for TITAN.
Anyway less people will complain here when NVIDIA launch GP100 full chip for same price. This is obvious from distance that option is only for ultra rich people who don't care for nothing... They don't care for 85% working capacity, reference clock, higher temps, same video memory as Maxwell TITAN, nothing because they have money and they will buy and second TITAN and don't even need to sell first, they will keep him on shelves. Pascal generation will not finish with one crippled GP102 and who think that is not very smart.
I think Hybrid kit will be compatible or maybe is even now compatible.

You will need to be patient. They likely are still working on it but it takes time to determine whether it is feasible or not. Once the feasibility is solved, it should only be a short time before this happens for those of you who can spend that kind of money. They likely will take the existing one for pascal and modify it to allow for the features of the titan. Also, it seems unlikely there will be a 1080 Ti, but that may change, we still have lower end products and the massive quadros to come so who knows, there may be one in the works.

I think the feasibility is determined on stuff like whether warranty will be honored, etc.
Its technical feasibility has already be proven by the last hybrid kits (it's basically the same cooler with slightly different mount holes)...

They don't have to get permission. They just simply say, here's a cooler and we think it works on the Titan Xp. Also, the Titan Xp doesn't have the same video memory as the Titan Xm. GDDR5 vs GDDR5X.

In the USA, you can't be forced to void your warranty in this way. It is up to the manufacturer to prove it was the repair or part in this case that caused the failure. This goes back a long way due to the automobile industry. Just because the sticker is there doesn't mean anything, although it can make warranty claims a hassle. Either way, complain on Nvidia site if you want AIB vendors to make new Titans. I just don't see that happening anytime soon.
