I have had this card for 3 months now and everything has been working great no shuttering or lag on the screen. Then all the sudden one day when i went to play H1Z1 the screen was very shuttery and everything was not a as smooth. Not only that but the FPS dropped a lot from what it used to be. I used to be able to get around 110-150 and now I'm getting FPS in the 80's. Just to use this as a reference when i first built my PC my first 2 games were Counterstrike and Minecraft. In Counterstrike I was never dropping below 298 and now i get around 180 fps. Since the game is kind've old, you cant really tell any difference. The game that i can really tell the difference is Minecraft. Everything was super smooth before and now there is screen lag and low fps. My temps are all good because I am checking it using MSI afterburner. My computer loads things very fast and it boots up very fast so i am almost positive that it's my graphics card. It's just frustrating when i spend $600 on a card and it runs great right away and then it seems like there is a performance drop.
PC Specs:
Intel i7-5820k
MSI X99A SLI PLUS
GTX 980 Ti ACX SC+ ACX 2.0+ w/ Backplate
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Corsair H100i GTX
Corsair HX850i
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB SSD
2TB HDD
Windows 10

    Start by doing #1 & #2 listed here... http://forums.evga.com/Ba...mode-etc-m2451023.aspx

You may also want to try a older driver that you were running when you first built your pc.

I already installed a clean boot of windows and i just did a clean install of the new video drivers and nothing worked. What else can i try? I feel like i should send in an RMA so i can get a new card. I wish i would've ran a benchmark before all this happened so i could compare. I feel like something is making the card not run at 100%. My computer is very fast but the graphics are not how they used to be when I built my PC. Has this happened to other people?

You said your gpu temps were ok. What about your cpu/motherboard temps? Did you ever optimize your games with geforce experience?

All my temps are really good. And no I have seen that but I have never chose to use it because when I first built my PC everything was very smooth. There has to be something else affecting it. Like everything was fine until one day I decided to install H1Z1 and then it seemed like there was a huge performance drop in the FPS.

Maybe some windows updates are causing the issue. Try doing a system restore to a day when everything was working correctly.

Has anyone else had a performance drop after they have had their graphics card for a few months? If so did they solve the problem. I could try a system restore but if I have already installed a fresh version of windows 10 it should be how I first got it. I have just tried to stick with it for a while but after a few weeks I can't get over the smooth feeling I used to get with the card out of my head. I honestly think I should send in an RMA.

Never experienced the problem myself. You never said that you did a fresh clean install of windows. A clean boot & fresh clean install of windows are two totally different things. Could you run a 3dmark firestrike test and post your results? Make sure to post a link to the actual website results and not just a picture.

I did a fresh clean install where it removed everything and installed a brand new Windows 10. Here are my results for firestrike ultra:

Do a normal firestike test, do not do the ultra test. Put spaces in your link for it to show up on the forums.

I have a similar problem with the same card.

It happens sporadic. In The Witcher III, the frames went from 2 to over 10000 with masive stuttering. I didn't had this before with my 980 SC. I allready followed Sajin's parameters two times. Firestrike works good.

Edit: After a quick research it looks like that this is something that happened in The Witcher III.
