Just wondering if EVGA will be releasing any info anytime soon on the upcoming Pascal cards from Nvidia. Just want to make sure they will have 16GB of GDDR5, possible price point, Classified info, etc.

You will get all information AFTER nvidia allows release. Until then, EVGA is under NDA (nondisclosure agreement) and will not openly break that agreement. Only time will tell, and Nvidia will probably hold another "Game 24" type event.

Might have lower end cards running gddr5, but I doubt that any top end card is gonna run it. Expect to get a mid range card as top first again this go around, it's worked for nvidia the last two architectures, they aren't going to change that unless AMD brings the heat. It being a new node, I doubt AMD will be going big and hot for the first high end card. I have been hearing about some things eerily reminiscent of the fermi issues though. Time will tell if any of those articles have truth.

If you're going to hear anything about architecture, it'll come from deliberate teases from Nvidia, not EVGA. And Nvidia isn't going to tease much unless AMD starts pushing their buttons. It'll start happening later in the year. It's too early for information IMHO.

Nvidia puts something out way ahead in architecture, then AMD does a slightly better card. Nvidia usually wins though. This trend keeps going like the energizer bunny.

Correct. Personally, I would love to see cards with 16GB or 32GB VRAM for production purposes.

I don't get the Rustle Simmons part. I do a lot of 3D design and rendering. For my usage at least with 3DS Max, SolidWorks, etc all benefit from increased VRAM.
