850 P2/T2 would be a great choice.

If you would like to stay in the 800-1000 range I would definitely suggest the 850 P2/T2

the 850 P2/T2 would be enough for SLI 980TI's or when the 1080 TI comes out?

We do not currently know the power requirements for any unreleased products however I would guess with 99% certainty that the 850 would be substantial and have no issues with future cards in SLI.

I use this EVGA PSU and it works great. It is much cheaper too with the promo code from Newegg -

850 is fine for 980 Ti SLI but I think you'd be pretty close to that limit under load. I'd personally get 1000 if you wish to overclock as well. I personally got the 1200 P2 but only because I don't want to hear the fan under a moderate load.
