Lame had a blue screen :( Sticking to bigadv. folding only now. On 2nd thought I'll just switch to my 4.2 overclock w/ 1.34V and the cards running also. Crossing my fingers I don't get another BSOD.

Well done 2 things as a first in this contest. I've OC'ed my CPU (yeah yeah i know the shame ) to 4,5ghz and last night it dropped my first bigdav unit with a bonus! Fold on people!

It was a 101 BSOD, I find it weird how it can survive 20 runs of LinX (click my 4.42 validation and you'll see the 20 LinX runs complete) with nearly all memory just fine but craps out 2 1/2 days later of bigadv. folding. I'm not too worried though, I need to find a 4.4 overclock that requires less then 1.4125V and ~325 VTT.

I'm not too worried though, I need to find a 4.4 overclock that requires less then 1.4125V and ~325 VTT. 20 runs of LinX is not always enough to call an overclock stable. My i7-920 passed 100 LinX passes 4.0 Ghz @ 1.19 volts. I ran it like that for sometime. gaming and folding. Then one day it started giving BSOD. I raised my vcore two notches and it's 100 stable w/ folding. bump your vcore up one notch. see how that goes x101 BSOD 0x101 = increase vcore 0x124 = increase/decrease vcore or QPI/VTT...have to test to see which one it is 0x0A = unstable RAM/IMC, increase QPI first, if that doesn't work increase vcore 0x1A = Memory management error. It usually means a bad stick of Ram. Test with Memtest or whatever you prefer. Try raising your Ram voltage. Can also mean more juice for the south bridge ICH volts 0x1E = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0x3B = increase vcore, or lower RAM frequency/ increase RAM voltage 0x3D = increase vcore 0xD1 = QPI/VTT, increase/decrease as necessary 0x9C = QPI/VTT most likely, but increasing vcore has helped in some instances 0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency or uncore multi unstable, increase RAM voltage or adjust QPI/VTT, or lower uncore if you're higher than 2x 0x116 = Low IOH (NB) voltage, GPU issue (most common when running multi-GPU/overclocking GPU) 0x00000109 = Not enough or too Much memory voltage 0x7E = Corrupted OS file, possibly from overclocking. Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r 0x24 = Disk corruption (Did you OC the PCI-E bus?) 0x19: memory voltage

I might up the voltage 1 more notch on the CPU, I am liking the average 60C temps currently on the CPU though. Was getting 65-73C with the 4.4 overclock. Let's see how long 1.41875V will last lol.

I got rid of all my watercooling before I got deployed. now im stuck on some fake water cooling (H50) @ 3.8 ghz Im getting 73 max :( you should be okay as long you keep your temps in check. and they look good. when my cpu's start hitting 79, i get worried.

I used to have a H70 and it was just not cutting it, I was getting close to 70C while just gaming..I traded a friend my Megahalem for the H70 because the mounting system would not work on his 790i Ultra board unfortunately. Yes I recently went and built me a custom loop back in August to cool my board and CPU (EK fullboard block+EK HF). So far since I upped the voltage and switched to my 4.4 OC max vreg temp is 57C while the cores average between 69-74C. Seemed to have lowered the time from 11 hours to 8 hours from completion, around 1:30 off the tpf.

Just dropped a gpu wu and have a bigadv dropping in about 18 hours. OC'ed to 3.8 on air, running about 90C, is there anything I can do to lower the tpf without increaing the temp too much more without messing with the OC too much? I know I can't get 3.9 without a BSOD after about 15 min because I can't get the voltage up high enough to make it stable without the temps getting too high....

I heard when you can increase memory speed it may have a positive effect on the tpf (may cause memory errors though), regarding your temps the only thing I could think of is trying to lower your ambient temps somehow.

I would not do anything until the wu completed. To lower your TPF you need to overclock processor higher. With those temps I would not do it!!!!! What cooler are you using? Voltage? Those temps are really high! Do a push pull config. Put the tower near a window, or open your case. Those temps are too high on the cpu. What cpu do you have? I have an i7-920 on an h50 with push pull and im getting about 74 c max.

it's an i7-920 with a hyper 212. I can't do anything about the room temp, it pretty much stays at 70F. 6 case fans and 2 on the cooler, it goes between 85 and 90. voltage is 1.26875, anything lower and it BSODs about every 12 hours....

That seems weird. You have much lower ambients then my room and a lot less volts, even if your on air that still does not seem right. Maybe try resetting the heatsink on the CPU and apply the right amount of TIM on it.
