Hello,
I am new to the forums, although I have 3 registered EVGA products so far. I have been very pleased with the performance of all 3 of them, however, one of my motherboards (P55 FTW) crapped out when I tried to install a new HDD.
I have tried anything I could think of but no luck. Every time power goes on I hear 9 beeps and that is all (I can't remember the error code that was on the display) - I bought new mobo (Z87 FTW) and CPU and pretty much build a new rig but would like to fix my P55 and put a spare PC together.
From what I have been reading, if you get 9 beeps from the mobo you need to contact your "seller" or somebody who fixes computers so they can order the right parts and replace them. Now, I am not sure what kind of parts are needed to be replaced, but I would like to know if I can do it on my own, before spending additional dollars. Mind you, my P55 was bought in 2010, so I have no warranty on it what so ever.
Any help would be appreciated
