Overclocking 4790k (how to set voltage)

I was using a gigabyte z97 board earlier and have given manual code voltage of 1.2 max.
I do not see such option in EVGA Z87 classified, I see adaptive voltage which is feeding 1.28 volts to my CPU on load; how do I control it? I could set my RAM to 1.5 but am not able to locate same setting for CPU.

Intel 4790K, Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK,
EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACK 2.0, 
EVGA Supernova G2 750W,
GSkill 1866 4*8 gb,  Crucial 500 GB SSD, CM Storm Stryker
Corsair K70 Red with Logitech G602

    I read few post and found the option override; it says that it consistently feeds the said voltage to CPU; so I assume this is not same.
     
    There has to be a simple way of specifying max voltage for CPU.

    Not sure about the Z87 BIOS (although I'm going to find out soon), but VDroop used to be a way of capping it. Do some searches on it. Many people like to o/clock with VDroop off, but risk voltage spikes.. although having it on usually means you need to set the 'normal' voltage a tad higher.
