Are there any restrictions when purchasing an open box from a authorized vendor (microCenter)? Does is have the 3yr warranty start at time of register and eligible for step up?

I'd be interested to know how this works as well...  I've seen some decent deals from time to time from Amazon Warehouse Deals - and Amazon authorized too.

    Hello,

items sold at authorized EVGA retailers ( evga.com/wheretobuy ) that are returned items will still qualify for warranty however will not qualify for specific promotions such as step up, warranty extension, power link, game codes, etc.
