Anyone know how to get this old link working? http://www.evga.com/forumsarchive/tm.asp?m=560923I seem to remember needing to do something with the tm in the link to get the old forum links to work but it's been years since I've done it. Heck maybe that whole old archived forum went the way of the dinosaurs? Oh suppose it would help to say that the link goes to the "never reinstall a game" guide that one of the good old old regulars posted.

Aww, Did you take the easy way and use google?  Yea that will work if the old original forum post will never be found again. Also that one you linked to is not a copy and paste as I remember the one from here being all numbered out and easier to understand as far as steps but I remember enough of it in my head now to use the one you linked to get the job done. Would still like to know if the double or triple old archived forums are still around somewhere as there is a lot of good info in those. Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Yeah, I tried looking for a way to make the link work, But apparently the Archive doesn't work anymore. I guess they ruined it when they switched over to this forum.

I remember back a few years or so and the EVGA webmaster said they always keep the old forums but that webmaster left a couple years ago so maybe that policy has changed. Maybe tomorrow someone will give an official answer as to if the old forums are hidden away somewhere. Not even sure if this new forum even carried over the info from just a couple years ago as I've been out of the loop here for a couple years at least.

Yeah, the Archive posts are gone for good now... Kind of sucks, took about 2000 posts away from my post count lol. They tried to repair it a while back, but a lot of information was lost going from one forum platform to another. The archive posts were broken and many of the threads were ripped apart where whole pages of posts vanished. Now that EVGA has changed platforms again, the archive stuff is completely gone... It was nice to go back there and remember a lot of the people that used to be part of this forum. Many have moved on.

I remember that now that you mention it, where pages were backwards, mis-ordered or missing in threads but it at least could be sorted out or figured out, Bummer it's all gone. I do not even know if that "way back" website is still around, probably not. Guess that teaches one (me) to save the actual web pages or even just a copy/pasted notepad file to a hard drive for future viewing if needed. Suppose I can probably go into my EVGA bookmark folder and delete the probably 200 or 300 links in there from the old and archived forums. All that info lost to my old mind.  P.S. I see they somehow managed to keep that wrinkly old shriveled up hag of a "why so serious" post around somehow. LOL Old memories, Old memories.

Yes, unfortunately, the archives are no longer accessible. Due to rapid changes, they weren't able to be preserved. Trust me, the mods would have been willing to back up a lot of the old threads if we'd had time.

This reminds me that there are some old threads with links to the old forums which no longer work so eventually I'll have to delete these.
